The place I observed is the Philippine College of Criminology where I am studying .

I observed
that, the Philippine College of Criminology seems nice, hospitable place, comfortable, and a
good environment. But for me it is just a physical appearance of this school. How about the
system of this school? The safety of every students inside the school? Are they comfortable
inside?. As a student in this school, I experienced a lot of unlikely things like, the discipline
officers inside the schools were not that fair. They’re doing their tasks when someone higher
officers are looking at them. But if not, they’re doing inappropriate things, like accusing things
without any evidence or proof that tends to problem of every students in PCCr. Accusing of
using illegal drugs without any labels. That’s not the only problem in this school. The Philippine
College of Criminology confiscating things such as pens, markers, fork, coloring materials which
is important on every student. When they confiscate those things, and when the students wants to
get back their properties. They said (the school) donates the things without any consent of
students. The school also do the mandatory investigation on every corner of student’s body just
to make sure they don’t have ILLEGAL DRUGS. They also force the students to open their
wallets, opening the important papers like an envelope with a bunch of money (yes, I
experienced that). They should not perform those things. And those confiscated stuffs of students
should get back because It is illegal by the law.

AN ACT PENALIZING THE UNAUTHORIZED TAKING, STEALING, KEEPING OR TAMPERING

OF GOVERNMENT RISK REDUCTION AND PREPAREDNESS EQUIPMENT, ACCESSORIES
AND SIMILAR FACILITIES

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress

assembled:

Section 1. Short Title. – This Act shall be known as the "Risk Reduction and Preparedness
Equipment Protection Act".

Section 2. Declaration of Policy. – It is the policy of the State to protect the right of the people to a
balanced and healthful ecology in accord with the rhythm and harmony of nature. The State shall
continue the policy to create, develop, maintain and improve conditions under which man and nature
can thrive in productive and enjoyable harmony with each other. Towards this end, all government
agencies are mandated to institute measures to ensure the safety of its citizens and their properties
through the installation of data and information gathering devices and the network of national and
local authorities to disseminate risk reduction warning and advice.
 I also observed that students pay for their ID but the school were not giving students ID even when
they’re already paid. And when it is available, the school were invalidating the pay slips of each
students who pay for their ID. And that is inappropriate.
