Everyone values the air, but it is also our greatest enemy.

Although we can not always fully see

the air, it can have a significant impact on people's health. Carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide,
and sulfur dioxide commonly come from automobiles, burning fossil fuels mix with air causing a
problem called air pollution. Air pollution is an environmental problem that is currently facing
the whole world. About 90 per cent of the world's population exposed to air pollution. It is the
result of modernization. As we continue to develop and discover innovative ways, air pollution
continues to worsen. Air pollution is considered a significant threat to human health. Because
the air we breathe is dangerous to our body. The toxins can easily penetrate the whole body. Air
pollution causes a variety of diseases not only in our lungs but also in other parts of the body.
According to the study, almost all parts of the body are affected by air toxins that cause serious
illness. Its impact begins on the mother's womb. Thus it causes congenital disabilities. This issue
may affect the brain directly. Based on a study by researchers in Shanghai, China, they found that
exposure to polluted air increases children's risk of developing autism. Therefore many children
die early.

Air pollution cannot prevent altogether, but it is possible to reduce its effects. We need to look
around and be aware of this issue because we cannot prevent that we cannot see visibly. With
the simple reduction of smoke, the use of Pinoy Inventor Pablo Planas's low-gas gadget and the
implementation of the DENR's 1.5 emission standards are a great help for our environment.
Nature and Urbanization must keep in balance. We should keep in our mind this balance
because it is not only for our sake but also for the future generation.
