V) REED BED SYSTEM:
Reed bed System provides an aquatic plant to allow the bacteria, fungi for treatment of waste or
sewage water. It is a very natural process. At first, wastewater comes from different places and
pour on the bed. Then water percolated down through this bed and become purifier. Below the soil
layer gravel is present through which water percolated. Then water stored into a primary tank and
passes to secondary tank. Then there was a water vortex system is present through which solid
particles of water settle down and due to aeration, no odour was formed. After treat the water ready
to use for gardening.
