4. About Industry
The Monnoo Family is a traditional name in Pakistan that has
been the story of success for the industrial growth of the
country. A name that unique stands out as the pioneer
industrial family that has played a significant role in the
growth of the economy.
The growth of the Group down through the decades has
played a positive role in dominating the local industry and
providing a secure future for its employees. The
transformations brought about in the local industries by the
Monnoo Group have made them pioneers in the technological
and customer oriented business conglomerates.
The Group now owns 12 Textile units, Agricultural Farms and
extensive research units catering to various agricultural
products. As innovators in their fields, the Group has kept
pace with the latest state of the art technologies, through
which the Group now produces superior international quality
products for clients worldwide. The Monnoo Group has
developed with remarkable speed from a traditional, family
owned textile company into a modern high-tech industrial and
agricultural conglomerate. The core business of Monnoo
Group is international product recognition in Textiles (Yarns,
Ecru yarn, Fancy/Novelty yarns, Melange Yarns and sewing
threads) and in Agriculture products ( Tissue Culture,
Orchards and Farms). With outstanding growth and
development in yarns and bringing about innovations in fancy
yarns, they have one of the most sophisticated and modern
mills in Pakistan.
After Partition, their acquisition of a rubber factory was traded
for an old textile mill, installed with a total of 2400 spindles.
By the year 1965 the Group had a total number of 5 textile
mills. During the troubled time of partition of the sub-
continent, the Monnoo family shifted to East Pakistan and
later on set up five Spinning mill operations, 3 in west
Pakistan and 2- in east Pakistan.
A number of companies associated with the Group are serving
the country since its inception and are indeed amongst the
pioneers of the spinning industry in Pakistan. Beginning with
one spinning mill to 12 spinning mills consisting of more than
225800 spindles with over 8000 employees. Most of the
companies associated with the Group are leaders in the areas
of their activity, and have been ISO Certified.

5. Plan of your internship program

a. I have done my internship at Monnoo Group of
Industries ( Tribal Textile Mills) Dera Ismail Khan
branch.
b. Starting date 1st of July 2019
End date 13th of July 2019
c. I have Got training in Textile Mills.

6. Training Program
Textile mills.
The textile industry is primarily concerned with the design,
production and distribution of yarn, cloth and clothing. The
raw material may be natural, or synthetic using products of
the chemical industry
In the production of yarn there are some operations are
include which are mentioned below
1. Raw Material
i. In the production of yarn we use 90% Polyester
In this 90%
66% is Pakistani green polyester and 34% is white
foreigner.
10% viscous cotton.
We do three operations on this mixture
 Opening

First of all we open all cotton by hands

 Cleaning

After that we throw it collectively in the Cleaning Machine.

In this machine the cotton made clean and waste is
collecting on the side.
 Mixing.

After cleaning the plant mix it in two to three steps.

2. Blowing.
The above mentioned all process is collectively known as
BLOWING and the place where we do these processes
known as BLOW ROOM..
3. Carding
Carding is a mechanical process that disentangles, cleans
and intermixes fibres to produce a continuous web or sliver
suitable for subsequent processing. This is achieved by
passing the fibers between differentially moving surfaces
covered with card clothing.
4. Lapping.
The lap former machine is not use in the carded yarn
process because it is used for lapping yarn by lapping process.
Former meaning make laps of various counts for Carding
Machine of textile industry.
5. Combing
Combing Process of Cotton Spinning. For getting high
quality of yarn, one extra process is introduced which is
called combing process. Combing is an operation in which
dirt and short fibers are removed from sliver lap by
following ways. Closely spaced needles are passed through
the fiber projecting from jaws
6. Drawing
Drawing, also called Drafting, in yarn manufacture, process of
attenuating the loose assemblage of fibres called sliver (q.v.)
by passing it through a series of rollers, thus straightening the
individual fibres and making them more parallel. Each pair of
rollers spins faster than the previous one.
7. Roving
A roving is a long and narrow bundle of fiber. Rovings are
produced during the process of making spun yarn from wool
fleece, raw cotton, or other fibres. ... After carding, the fibres
lie roughly parallel in smooth bundles. These are drawn out,
by hand or machine, and slightly twisted to form lengths
suitable for spinning.
8. Spinning.
Spinning is the twisting together of drawn-out strands of
fibers to form yarn, and is a major part of the textile industry.
The yarn is then used to create textiles, which are then used to
make clothing and many other products
9. Winding
After winding yarn packages are used for making woven or
knitted fabrics. Winding process can be defined as the
transfer of spinning yarn from one package to another large
package (cone, spool, pirn etc). ... A process of
accumulating yarn on a package to facilitate the
next process is called as winding.
10. Final product warehouse
It is a store or warehouse where is collection of final
product.

7. Conclusion .
I conclude from my this internship that the Industry TRIBAL TEXTILE MILLS
is a very high standard Industry in the area of Dera Ismail Khan
This organization is proper for Engineers.
Especially this organization has very Best system of security and system of
cleanliness.
