Dear Ma'am,
Greetings!
I would like to introduce myself, I am Genalane Rizada Dacay mother of Princess
Gehann Mikhail R. Dacay, grade 10 STEM-A who graduated as Senior High in your
school last April 4,2019 under the advisory of Mr. Ronel P. Lipon. I would like to
extend my heartfelt gratitude to your office for being part of my child's
education. I mean to submit this letter of complaint against her adviser through
your office after the graduation because I don't want the teacher to interpret that
I am looking after for academic award. Attached here is the grade slip and I would
like ask your good office to help me evaluate the factors of abrupt decrease in my
child's grade in Chemistry under Mr. Ronel Lipon her adviser, granting that the
student accepted her grade and told me that she come up only with 75 in second
quarter because the subject was difficult but as a parent I still have questions
that needs clarification. Did the teacher gave interventions when he observed
changes in my child performance? I understand that this subject is difficult but,
Is the teacher strategy effective? Because only in his subject where the grade
decreases in a matter of 9 points. Why did the teacher called the attention of the
students who got failing grade but didn't call the parents of those grades abruptly
decreases? I admit my fault of not coming to school during card day and most of the
meetings because I am a public high school teacher that is why I trusted this
school for my child to study and I think it is not the factor that cause us
emotional stress now. My child got her grade slip but trying to hide it because she
is afraid to show her grade to me since we planned to take entrance test in state
universities. She only told me last March 23,2019 that she can't enroll bachelor
course in public school because of her grade. My purpose of sending my complain is
to call the attention of the teacher because if he will not improved his way of
teaching the same thing might happen next year to other victims. If the teacher
think it is minimal problem, I want to correct him that it is a big deal if you are
a mother. No matter what is his academic affiliation as a teacher he can't be
called effective when most of his students got lost especially that he is the class
adviser and trusted as the second parent in school.I am a teacher and I
understand what a grading system is even if it vary from private school standard.
What I want now to happen is to hear answer from the concern teacher and how the
office deal with this matter. I am waiting for your response in a form of letter or
