STUDENT FEEDBACK

BY COURSE
NUR 2103 – Competencies for Nursing
Practice I
• Dr. Daniels is my favorite professor. She teaches us everything in a hands-on
way while adding humor when appropriate and interesting experiences as
well. I have yet to learn as much as I have in this course than any other
course and I think a lot of that has to do with the hands-on environment and
the professor I received.

• The faculty was very approachable, understanding and knowledgeable about

the information they were teaching. Their desire to help us understand and
retain the information as well as be prepared to practice skills learned was
much appreciated.

• The faculty was very interactive and always answered questions in a

meaningful manne”.
NUR 3116 – Population and Global
Health
• Dr. Daniels is an engaged and knowledgeable teacher who employs
multiple methods to convey and reinforce course content.
• Dr. Daniels was very informative and knowledgeable with the content
that we needed to complete for the class. Dr. Daniels was able to
answer any questions that I had about any course content.
• The instructor was very nice and supportive throughout our semester.
She always encouraged students to come and talk if they ever need
it. I really appreciated this and felt as if I could talk to her about
anything.
• She is knowledgeable and quite thorough. The faculty has valuable
experience in the field to share with students.
NUR 4116P – Population and Global
Health Practicum
• Dr. Daniels is knowledgeable about population and global
health subject matter. Facilitated conversations.
Demonstrated care towards students and received
feedback regarding our concerns with CMS.
• Dr. Daniels is very intelligent on this information.
• Dr. Daniels was extremely attentive, encouraging, and
respectful.
• Dr. Daniels is always great as a clinical leader.
NUR 4140 – Synthesis to Nursing
Practice
• All of the teachers are great. I think they all are experts in their
subjects, and they make a boring class a little more interesting.

• I liked that they rotated every three weeks rather than being
"co-teachers" teaching over each other. At least that's what it
felt like anyway.

• Dr. Turner is a great professor and tells amazing stories that

end up teaching you valuable life lessons. I enjoyed Dr.
Turner's and Dr. Daniel's style of teaching through the use of
case studies. This helped bring things full circle and helped
keep my attention. I also enjoyed the thought provoking
questions Dr. M. asked and discussed with the class.
NUR 4215 Vulnerable Population and
Global Health
• Dr. Daniels was very prompt in responding to questions and
concerns.
• Provided clear instructions and answer questions when needed.
• Cannot think of anything I would have Dr. Daniels change. I
thoroughly enjoyed this course and could not have chosen a better
instructor.
• Felt that Dr. Daniels was very approachable, answered emails in a
timely manner, and was helpful throughout the class. I enjoyed the
interaction of on-line class discussion and with peers and Dr. Daniels
responding to our initial responses on discussion board. This allowed
me to think more about the question.
• Like I mentioned , Dr. Daniels is available, encouraging and thought
provoking. She keeps the student engaged and encouraged to want
to know more and apply that knowledge to our practice.

privately about my preceptor experience. I am thankful for
Dr. Daniel's listening ear.

• Faculty was very supportive and easy to work with.
• Her patience, approachability, kindness, wisdom,
compassion and guidance throughout the semester
