Educational Philosophy
Our staff is committed to teaching children in a
way that promotes active learning through
exploration, discovery, creativity, problem solving

We utilize a diverse theme-based curriculum
including independent and group activities to
promote learning. Ongoing assessments guide
teaching experiences.
We strengthen spiritual development and
familiarize the children with God’s Word through
daily prayer, Bible stories and memory verses.
Portfolios are created for each child highlighting
progress and development throughout their years
at Growing in the Son Preschool.
We believe a strong partnership with parents is
vital to the overall development of each child.

Three Year Old Classes

(Must be potty trained prior to starting school)

Pre-K Program
Children 4 years old by September 1, 2010
Pre-K equips students for kindergarten
Utilizes a kindergarten reading curriculum that
teaches both site words and phonics, developed by
Dr. Cindy Cupp
Continues to build on Pearson’s Growing with
Mathematics
Continues to build on Handwriting Without Tears
Students are assessed continually to insure a
maximum readiness level in math and reading along
with other core content and skill areas
Encouraged to become confident learners ready to
pursue academic excellence in any environment

Meets Monday - Friday from 9am-1pm
$2,790.00 yearly tuition or 9 payments of $310.00

 Registration
Registration Fee - $100.00
All registration fees are non-refundable and due
at the time of registration.
Supply Fee
Supply Fees are a non-refundable,
one time annual fee due May 15, 2010.
Tuition
We provide three tuition payment options.
1. Tuition paid in full by August 1st
2. Tuition paid in two equal payments due
August 1st and January 1st
3. Paid in 9 equal installments, due by the 1st
of the month starting August 1st.
A Financial Agreement Form is included in the
registration packet.
Tuition is considered late if received after the
9th of the month, and late fees will be charged.
Outstanding balances over 30 days may consti-
tute dismissal from the school.
There will be a 10% tuition reduction for the
second child enrolled in a family.
School Calendar
Growing in the Son follows the Chatham County
School Calendar regarding most holidays.
Parents will be provided a school calendar at
the start of the school year. We are closed dur-
ing the summer.
Growing in the Son Preschool admits students of any
race, color, national or ethnic origin.
