The first school assessed is SK Mengkuang in Bukit Mertajam,Pulau Pinang. It is a band 5 primary

school.The test paper that is assessed for this assignment is the Year 6 Comprehension(Pemahaman)

paper. In this school, for the school based assessment, the students are tested three times in a year. The

papers that are assessed are for the year 2017. The students are tested in three tests namely the Penilaian

Sumatif 1, PKSR 1 for the mid-year examination and Peperiksaan Akhir Tahun at the end of the year.

All the three papers tested throughout the year 2017 looked like test papers to assess the students in the

comprehension of English. All three had cover pages. Instructions were stated in Bahasa Melayu on the

cover page but they were not consistent terms of a standard format
