Commute challenge? lt's not new in QC

Folowing the calls for govemment olficials and public
servants to engage in a "co[unute challengen to €xperience
the daily gridlock in Metro Manila, the Quezon City Task lbrce
for ftansport and llaffic Maragement on T[esday said that it
has abeady staxted the challenge way before ihe public's catl.
In a statement, Task Force head Atty. Aliel Inton said that
even before Ule commute challenge ofhesidential spokesman
Salvador Panelo and Iligan City Rep. Flederick Sian's fiting
of *Public Servants' Commuting via Public llansport Act',

already taking public transport.

oflicials to commute using public transportation at least
once a month.

public officials and employees,' said lnton. "Public officials

The QC traffic czar added that public officials and
