The Book Of John John 6:21-24

for educators
Then they were glad to take Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which
they were going. On the next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the sea saw that
there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but
that His disciples had gone away alone. Other boats from Tiberias came near the place where they
had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. So the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor
his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and went to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

There’s a Word for that! Favor

Favor is defined as approval, support or liking for someone or something. How awesome that we
can ask God for His favor. What a loving God we serve.

Psalm 5:12- For you bless the righteous, O LORD, you cover him with favor as a shield.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for taking care of us. Thank
You for covering us as a shield. You
bless us Lord in so many ways. Help us

to count our blessings. Thank You for

Your favor and for being our Advocate.
Let us live lives of gratitude telling all of
your wonderful ways. O Lord, we love

You and thank You for your faithfulness

and favor. We ask in the wonderful
name of Jesus. Amen.

Meditation for the month

1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.

Prayer, posture and Practicalities

1:16 PM prayer prompt - Please pray for forgiveness.

Online Prayer Resources - Action step #2– Can you believe it? There’s an app for that! There’s
a app for prayer called Prayer Mate. It’s clever format will help you become purposeful in your

prayers and even set reminders for you. Educators are very busy people, but prayer is a priority
that we have to plan for. Perhaps this app will be just what you need to stay on track.
