Good day Sir/ Madam;

We are asking your good office a request regarding the science lab of our school. In accordance to K-12 Senior High
School curriculum, specialized subjects in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand
includes General Chemistry and General Biology which requires basic laboratory skills training as one of its
competencies. Understanding of fundamental scientific concepts not only in the abovementioned specialized subjects
but also in science-related core subjects such as Earth and Life, Earth Science and Physical Science Most of the
equipment that we have is insufficient to sustain our lab experimentation. There are very few chemicals as well as
measuring instruments. Students do not get any chance to learn new things through experimentation. Now day’s for all
we know schools are focusing more on project-based learning rather than books. In line with this, we would like to
request your good office for a functional working school laboratory which could cater simple and safe
experimentation. Also attached in this letter is the list of requested laboratory supplies and apparatuses that the senior
high school science teachers and students considered to be of utmost importance.

Your deepest understanding and consideration will be greatly appreciated.
