Before I begin to give a speech, I would like to invite you to thank to Allah the
Almighty, Who has given us Mercy and Blessing, so we can meet together in
this blessing place.

Blessing and salutation upon the most honorable prophet and messenger, his
families, all his disciples, and those who follow them in goodness till the any of
judgment.
In this good chance, I would like to deliver my speech by title;

The Role of Islamic Students in Globalization Era

Globalization gives not only positive effects of the rapid science, information
and technology development but also brings about many religion and culture
principle divergences of the nation. Those become the cause of a drop in
autonomy and identity of the nation.

Happy brothers and sisters!

Lets pay attention more what happens in our surroundings at present! Free sex,
pornography, alcoholic drink and drugs become youth customs in this country.
Most of them always imitate what becomes up to date without filtering and
thinking before. And they never make balance between thought and desire,
planning and implementation and between ability and action. In addition, they
do not preserve the Islamic laws because they think that religion is the symbol
only whereas, youth is the generation next of this country. So how this countrys
future is if most of them get a drop in their moral values?.

Consequently, we are the next generation of this country; we have to keep

ourselves by faith, beliefs and piety in facing the globalization era. And we have
to be aware of conserving the Islamic laws. Moreover we are the Islamic
students have obligation to fight against the weakness of our beloved nation.

Moslem brothers and sisters!

We should not keep silent when we know the negative changes that happen in
our society because of globalization era. As Islamic students we ought to
become figures in anticipating the negative effects of this global era.

Allah state in the noble Quran; (Waltakum minkum ummatan yaduna ilal
khoiri wa yamuruna bil marufi wa yanhauna anil munkar, wa ulaaika
humul muflihuun)

Meaning: let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good,
enjoining almaruf and forbidding almunkar and those who are the successful
man.

Dear brothers and sisters!

The Islamic students with their moral forces and Islamic studies must be
proactive to guide what is and what globalization era is for and the purpose of it.
So that, lets hope for the best. They become the public figures and they can
color the social and cultural lives of their society in achieving the goal. Thats
good Moslem is a good country.

Happy brothers and sisters!

As the generation next we should;
– take the positive effects of globalization era only,
– raise our taqwa and realize our religious doctrine in our daily lives,
– become good figures for the society in facing globalization, information and
communication technology
That’s all my speech. Thank you for your attention

Let us praise and Thanks to Almighty God. Who has bestowed grace and guidance to all of
us, so, we can gather in this room in healthy. I have to thank you for the opportunity given to
me to deliver a speech with the theme the role of the younger generation in the
independence of Indonesia.

Today we are celebrating our independence day. Did you know 70 years ago before we
fought at the expense of people and their possessions to repel the invaders from our land?
They struggle with very bold in seizing and defending the independence of our country from
the hands with raised arms and amidst a hail of lead. All of that is done for one reason and
that is to our nation's independence.

The independence that we have been able to at this time does not mean that our struggle
has been completed. Precisely at this time, we should strive to maintain and replenish the
independence of Indonesia. We are as a nation of Indonesia, particularly the younger
generation has a very important role for the progress and peace of our country. This is
because the younger generation is the spearhead of our current struggle. However, the fact
that the younger generation now mostly being individualism, being hedonism and had a low
of nationalism's soul. Obviously this is a huge problem for our nation, what will become our
nation of this generation are losing the values a noble character, spirit to live together, help
each other and between each other.

With a high spirit of nationalism, as young generation, we can continue the struggle of the
heroes that have been credited to us. If they used to be fought with weapons, we struggle
with books and stationery to fight for the people of Indonesia. We should be always
optimistic and always eager to provide the best for our beloved homeland. So we can make
it work and learn, progressing as well as the nation's name and fill out the scent of Indonesia
independence with as well. The spirit of nationalism and patriotism is high within us.

Mari kita memuji dan berterima kasih kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang telah
memberikan rahmat dan hidayah kepada kita semua, sehingga kita bisa berkumpul di
ruangan ini di sehat. Saya harus mengucapkan terima kasih atas kesempatan yang
diberikan kepada saya untuk menyampaikan pidato dengan tema peran generasi muda
dalam kemerdekaan Indonesia.

Hadirin yang berbahagia

Hari ini kita merayakan hari kemerdekaan kita. Apakah Anda tahu 70 tahun yang lalu
sebelum kita berjuang, mereka para pahlawan mengorbankan orang-orang dan harta benda
mereka untuk mengusir penjajah dari tanah kita? Mereka berjuang dengan sangat berani
dalam merebut dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan negara kita di tengah-tengah hujan
peluru dari senjata para penjajah. Semua itu dilakukan untuk satu alasan dan itu adalah
untuk kemerdekaan bangsa kita.

Hadirin yang berbahagia

Kemerdekaan yang kita telah capai saat ini tidak berarti bahwa perjuangan kita telah selesai.
Justru saat ini, kita harus berusaha untuk mempertahankan dan mengisi kemerdekaan
Indonesia. Kita sebagai bangsa Indonesia, khususnya generasi muda memiliki peran yang
sangat penting bagi kemajuan dan perdamaian negara kita. Hal ini karena generasi muda
merupakan ujung tombak perjuangan kita saat ini. Namun, sebuah fakta bahwa generasi
muda sekarang kebanyakan menjadi individualisme, hedonisme menjadi dan memiliki
rendah jiwa nasionalisme itu. Jelas ini adalah masalah besar bagi bangsa kita, apa yang
akan menjadi bangsa kita dari generasi ini kehilangan nilai-nilai akhlak mulia, semangat
untuk hidup bersama, saling membantu dan antara satu sama lain.

Dengan semangat nasionalisme yang tinggi, sebagai generasi muda kita dapat melanjutkan
perjuangan para pahlawan yang telah diwariskan kepada kita. Jika mereka bertarung
dengan senjata, kita berjuang dengan buku-buku dan alat tulis untuk memperjuangkan
rakyat Indonesia. Kita harus selalu optimis dan selalu bersemangat untuk memberikan yang
terbaik bagi tanah air kita tercinta. Jadi kita bisa bekerja dan belajar atas nama bangsa dan
mengisi kemerdekaan Indonesia. Semangat nasionalisme dan patriotisme yang tinggi ada
dalam diri kita.

Sebagai manusia, saya menyadari bahwa saya tidak bisa menghindari kesalahan, jadi saya
minta maaf kepada kalian semua. Dan saya tidak lupa mengucapkan terima kasih banyak

let us praise the presence of Almighty God, the Lord of hosts who have delighted

in giving us his grace so that we can all gather in this independence

day commemorative event with no one hitch of any kind.

In this atmosphere of Indonesia independence day, I want the spirit

of independence raiseth Indonesia I think it’s been eroded too much in the soul of the

youth of Indonesia.

We are all the people of Indonesia still remember how great our hero struggles in

defending freedom from the hands of the invaders.

The independence we gained also the grace of God. But do not please God give you

all what we aspire to or we want if we ourselves do not want working on that.

Once again, let the warning this time around independence day we fill

with increasing spirit of struggle that we have to make it as the spirit of patriotism and

nationalism to fill this independence.

Presumably, that’s all I can tell, if there is wrong-wrong word I apologize.

Finally let us pray and fight, God with us, free …!!!

Sebelumnya, marilah kita panjatkan puja dan puji syukur kehadirat Allah SWT, Tuhan

semesta alam yang telah berkenan memberikan kita rahmatnya sehingga kita semua

bisa berkumpul dalam acara peringatan hari kemerdekaan ini tanpa ada satu

halangan apapun.

Dalam suasana hari kemerdekaan Indonesia ini, saya ingin menggelorakan semangat

kemerdekaan Indonesia yang saya rasa sudah terkikis terlalu banyak di jiwa para

pemuda Indonesia.

Kita seluruh bangsa Indonesia masih ingat betapa hebatnya perjuangan-perjuangan

pahlawan kita dalam mempertahankan dan merebut kemerdekaan dari tangan para

penjajah.

Kita sebagai bangsa yang besar harus dapat menghargai jasa pahlawan-pahlawan.

Tetapi yang lebih penting lagi pada saat ini ialah mengisi kemerdekaan ini dengan

hal-hal yang positif. Mengisi kemerdekaan ini dengan berbagai kegiatan yang

bermanfaat bagi diri kita, semua orang dan tentunya bagi bangsa Indonesia sendiri.
Marilah kita teruskan semangat para pahlawan kita itu dengan semangat patriotisme

dan nasionalisme. Apakah artinya merdeka jika hidup bertambah sengsara dan bukan

bertambah sejahtera. Kita berusaha tetapi Tuhan yang menentukan. Tetapi ingat

saudara-saudara… Tuhan tidak akan merubah nasib seseorang jika manusia sendiri

tidak mau berusaha mengubahnya.

Kemerdekaan yang kita peroleh juga merupakan rahmat dari Tuhan. Tetapi jangan

diharap Tuhan memberikan semua apa yang kita cita-citakan atau kita inginkan jika

kita sendiri tidak mau mengusahakannya.

Sekali lagi, marilah peringatan hari kemerdekaan kali ini kita isi dengan

meningkatkan semangat perjuangan yang harus kita wujudkan sebagai semangat

patriotisme dan nasionalisme untuk mengisi kemerdekaan ini.

Kiranya, hanya itu yang dapat saya sampaikan, jika ada salah-salah kata saya mohon

maaf.

Akhirnya marilah berdoa dan berjuang, Tuhan bersama kita, MERDEKA…!!!

On 17 August 2019, Indonesia has enjoyed independence for 74 years. It is a gift for us.

Everyone in the world wants independence. With independence, we can feel serenity in the
soul, peace, and away from fear. We should be grateful for it.

We should also be grateful for the sacrifices of the heroes for this independence. They have
been willing to sacrifice their wealth, labor and sacrifice their souls to gain independence.

As the nation that loves the homeland, we need to keep this independence in our hands.

To appreciate their kindness, we can continue heroes' struggle with earnest in our work.

If you are the teacher, you can educate students with sincerity.

If you are the doctor, you can treat the patient with sincerity.

And if you are the students, you can learn earnestly to pride Indonesia with achievement.

Ladies and Gentlemen...

The Heroes have sincerely sacrificed everything they have for the sake of realizing
independence.
As a nation of Indonesia, we should imitate it.
By working earnestly and sincerely, hopefully, we can be given ease in all things by God.

On this day, let us pray. Hopefully, this country gets God's blessing.
And hopefully, the heroes get rewarded for their good.

Pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2019, Indonesia telah menikmati kemerdekaan selama 74 tahun.
Ini adalah anugerah untuk kita.

Semua orang di dunia menginginkan kemerdekaan. Dengan merdeka, kita bisa merasakan
ketenangan dalam jiwa, kedamaian, dan jauh dari rasa takut. Kita harus bersyukur untuk itu.

Kita juga harus bersyukur atas pengorbanan pahlawan untuk kemerdekaan ini. Mereka rela
mengorbankan kekayaan, tenaga dan mengorbankan jiwa mereka untuk mendapatkan
kemerdekaan.

Sebagai bangsa yang mencintai tanah air, kita perlu menjaga kemerdekaan ini tetap di
tangan kita.

Untuk menghargai kebaikan mereka, kita dapat melanjutkan perjuangan pahlawan dengan
sungguh-sungguh dalam pekerjaan kita.

Jika Anda adalah guru, Anda bisa mendidik siswa dengan tulus.

Jika Anda adalah dokter, Anda bisa merawat pasien dengan tulus.

Dan jika Anda adalah siswa, Anda bisa belajar sungguh-sungguh, agar bisa membanggakan
Indonesia dengan prestasi.
