1. Personal qualities of a teacher (provides situations where

these qualities exhibited).

Teachers must possess the quality of honesty and integrity.

A teacher must demonstrate uprightness, truthfulness and

freedom from deceit. Just a simple look at a teacher we can

easily see an inspiration, respect and admiration. A teacher

must also be full of dedication and commitment, rendering

service above regular function and beyond the regular time. As

a teacher this is very visible when a teacher is assigned in

a far-flung area but still manages to function as an effective

one despite the condition of the place. A teacher must be

resourceful and with initiative, starts action, projects and

performs task without told and supervised. A teacher must be

courteous, shows politeness and thoughtfulness. This is more

evident in the supervisor- subordinate relationship into work

situations. A teacher must be compassionate. This is visible

to teachers that genuinely shows concern for students,

colleagues and to their immediate supervisors. A teacher must

be also be very diligent, a kind of teacher that never

surrenders to whatever kind of learner he/she might have. More

importantly a teacher must be full of wisdom, wisdom to her

understanding of the teaching learning process, and the source

of knowledge to students.

2. Facilitative learning environment. (expound by giving

example).

A facilitative learning environment is a learning

environment consist of physical, psychological and socio

environment where teaching and learning takes place in most

effective and productive manner. The physical environment

consists of physical condition of the classroom, arrangement

of the furniture, seating arrangement, and the classroom

temperature and lightning. The psychological climate includes

the safety of the students in the hand of the school and the

teacher. On how they respect for diversity, the engagement

between student and the school, the social support of the

adults and the social support of the parents to their students

through leadership with other learners. And lastly, the

teaching and learning. In facilitating the learners, teachers

must know how students are comfortable with the environment

and how students act and interact with other people inside the

learning environment. It is the environment who can help

learners and teachers more comfortable and have a good ambiance

for them to learn to each other.

3. For accountability of learning, lesson objective must be

SMART. What does it mean? Expound your answer.

It must be specific it must answer the questions what is

to be done? A kind of objective that is specific is to make

sure that the way it is described is observable. It must be

measurable, it must answer the question how will it meet

expectations? It refers to the extent to which something can

be evaluated against some standard. An objective with a

quantity measurement uses terms of amount and percentages. It

must be achievable, it answers the question can a person do

it? Or can the objective be achieved by an individual?. It

must be also realistic, it must answer the question should it

be done? And what will be the impact? And lastly Timely, it

must answer the question when will it be done? Using the SMART

method is a great way to help us future teachers to check our

own work specially when creating objectives. This will keep us

focused on building useful objectives and works as a checklist

for us.

4. Define intelligence? Give at least three examples.

Intelligence is defined as general cognitive problem-solving

skills. A mental ability involved in reasoning, perceiving

relationships and analogies, calculating, learning quickly.

Intelligence is what you do when you don't know what to do.

Intelligence is a hypothetical idea which we have defined as

being reflected by certain types of behavior. Examples of

intelligence are Logical-mathematical intelligence it is the

ability to calculate, quantify, consider propositions and

hypotheses, and carry out complete mathematical operations.

Musical intelligence it is the capacity to discern pitch,

rhythm, timbre, and tone. Existential intelligence it is the

sensitivity and capacity to tackle deep questions about human

existence, such as the meaning of life, why we die, and how

did we get here.

5. Reflect on the quotation. “An investment in knowledge is the

best interest”

If you want to get a good return on yourself, your time,

your effort and your money we must invest in our very own self,

specifically in our knowledge. Knowledge plays a part in

everything we do. It can help us make more money, make better

decisions, be better at sports, take better care of your health

and much more. Someone who is knowledgeable would likely

succeed in life, because the greatest investment in life is

knowledge and with that everything comes along, like having a

good career, making money and being self-sufficient. That is

why everyone one not stop oneself from learning new things in

life.
