Job Vacancy for Laundry Attendant (LOCAL ONLY)

Position: Laundry Attendant

Location: VILAMENDHOO ISLAND RESORT & SPA, Champa Building 3rd Floor, Malé 20187 Republic of Maldives

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to Laundry Supervisor, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Loads clean clothing/linens into laundry carts or bags for distribution to designated areas.
• Contribute to the moral and team spirit of the resort by maintaining good relationships with colleagues
• Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to
immediate Supervisor

Qualifications:
• Male with High School graduation, or 1 years’ experience equivalent job
• Ability to lift bends, stoop, push or pull heavy loads, and stands for long periods of time. Requires lifting
bundles of linen
• Has the basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as safety
labels and instructions.
