¤ Summary ACTS 1-10

- After Jesus Christ has risen from death he appered to His Apostles, He gave orders to them and
blessed them with the Holy Spirit, by then He was taken up to heaven. Judas was replaced by
Matthias. On the day of Pentecost all of the Lord's followers were gathered together in one
place. Holy Spirit took control of them and they began to speak in different languages. And they
spread the message of God. But they were made fun of some, but Peter stood up and proved
their wrongness. On that day 3000 were baptized and believed Peter's message. Apostles
performed a lot of miracles and were continuing spreading the word of God and about Jesus the
Messiah. Peter and John healed a lame beggar man near the temple. And people were
completely surprised of what happened. The Apostles were still talking to the people, when
some preiests and some sadducees arrived. They were angry of what apostles were doing.n by
then at the afternoon Peter and John were arrested by some officials, they were jailed and
panelled. They were interrogated and questioned, but they were filled with Holy Spirit and
bravely told them about Jesus Christ to whom they crucified and raised back to life by God, and
they made the officials amazed by how courageous they were. They were freed, yet threatened
not to teach anything about the name of Jesus. As soon as they got back, they told what the
officials told them. When the other followers heard them, they prayed together asking for
courage to speak Lord's message and to show His mighty power. After they prayed they were
filled with Holy Spirit and spoke God's message. All the followers shared what they have to each
other. Yet, there this couple who were dishonest about the amount of money they got, in result
they were drop dead and then burried. On the other hand, Apostles worked many miracles and
wonders among the people. Many people started having faith in the Lord. A lot of sick people
were brought to them and they were healed. The high priest and other sadducees were jealous,
and they arrested and jailed the Apostles. Yet at night an angel send by the Lord came and led
the Apostles out. They went to the temples before sunrise and started teaching. The officials
were shocked of what happened, so they brought back the apostles again, and by that time the
apostles were freed and left the council happy and they never stopped telling and teaching the
good news that Jesus is the Messiah. A lot of people becoming followers of the Lord, so
Apostles chose seven men who are respected and wise and filled with God's spirit to be
incharge. One of this is stephen, that was stoned to death, that was approved by Saul. Saul is a
Christian persecuter, yet became a follower of God. And is preaching the good news of God. By
then the church became stronger. On the other hand, while peter travelling from place to place,
he also performed al lot of miracles in he name of Jesus. He healed a man nemed Aeneas, and
raised Tabitha from death. He stayed at Simon the leatger maker's hand. He left with the
servant sent by Cornelius, a captain of a group of soldiers who was very religious man. In that he
realized what his vision means, that God is pleased with everyone who worships him and does
right, no matter what nation they come from. Later, some Jewish followers had come with Peter,
and they were surprised that the Holy Spirit had been given to Gentiles. And then tgey were
hearing Gentiles speaking unknown languages praising God. Peter ordered them to be baptized
in the name of Jesus Christ, and they asked him to stay on for a few days.

¤ FIVE ACTIVITY or LIFE of EARLY CHRISTIAN

1. Christians Were a Fearless and Animated People, they preached place by place

2. Christians allot time to pray and worship the Lord

3. Christians would sell their property and possessions and give the money to whiever needed
it.

4. Christians broke bread together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely.

5. Christians were empowered by the holy spirit, giving them the fiery tongue
