METHODOLOGY

This chapter present the research methodologies done by the

researcher.it inlcudes the methods and techniques of the study, population

and the sample of the study, research instrument, collection data gathering

by the researcher and lastly the data processing and statistical treatment in

order to rearranged the gathered plan.

Research Design

Survey method will be used under the the descriptive research design.

Junior high school teacher will be asked about acceptability of mussels as

alternative to beef Patty. The survey will be done by utilizing the survey

question and the result will be tally and will be scrutinize accordingly. For the

data collection, we will be following a step by step procedure. Submitting a

letter of approval to conduct survey conduct after words and analyze the

data gather in the questionnaire from the respondents forward to that

conclusion is made at of the answer of the respondents.

Population and sampling of the study

 The study will be conducted among the junior high school teacher of San

Jose del National High School of brgy. yakal Francisco homes, city of San Jose

Monte bulacan the totality of Junior high school for the school year 2019-

2020 was one hundred twenty-eight (128). The researchers will be using

several sampling process to get the sample. The researcher will be using

slovin's formula as sampling method they only get the ninety-seven (97). In

order to get ninety-seven (97) respondents out of the population, they will

use the stratified sampling.

Sampling Method

Stratified random sampling is employed in this study in selecting the

individuals as sample based on their exclusive categories. It is a probability

sampling procedure in which an individual is selected at random selection.

Proposed Innovation
Ingredients

6 Cloves garlic minced

Pocedure

1. Steam mussel 5-10 minutes

2. After that remove the shell

3. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, add potato flour, then shaping

them into balls: Flatten into ½ -inch patties and smoothen the surface

with the use of a spoon

4. Fry the burger patties in a medium heat until cooked through

Instrumentation
 Survey questionnaire method was the research instruments used for

data gathering. Preference for the use of the structured questonnaire is

premised so that it will be least pressure for immediate response and giving

the respondents a greater feeling of anonymity.

Data Collection Procedure

In gathering the data, the researcher will first ask permission from the

principal of the school to conduct study. After the permission is obtained, the

researchers will then conduct survey questionnaires and retrieve it

personally, the gathered questionnaires will be then tabulated, analyzed and

interpreted.

Statistical Treatment of Data

The different data gathered will be treated using the various

statistics treatments listed below

1. Frequency Count. This statistical will be used to consolidate all the

responses of

the respondents and express it to frequency from for systematic treatment of

data.

2. Percentage.
3.Weighted Mean. This method will be employed to express the different

data into a single data that described the perceptions of the respondents

regarding the different variables of the study.
