Please know spelling and definitions of the words below:

observation: something you have noticed by watching carefully.

hypothesis: an educated guess based on a prediction.

dependent variable: a measured result of change in the independent variable in an experiment.

independent variable: the part of the experiment that changed.

procedure: the order in which you perform the experiment.

conclusion: findings; results that come from facts/ findings in a scientific experiment.

will continue to search for the answer to the
question: How do new and improved
technologies meet societal needs?
Math: Multiplying and dividing decimals.
We are continuing work in Module 2.

when they come upon a problem that is difficult
at first. As always, we are continuing to work on
writing about math and thoroughly explaining
our steps when solving.
Science: Astronomy – we will finish our unit on
Astronomy and our study of stars, planets, and
specifically our solar system. Students will
complete a project on a specific planet in our
Solar System.
Social Studies: Early Explorers of America
Grammar/ Writing: Contractions in writing.
