faithfulness, favor, grace and mercies towards me from the very beginning of work immersion to

the end.

Our immense appreciation goes to our supportive work immersion adviser, Mr. Tracy

John Henry Reyes, who despite all the stress and tight schedule made out time to go through my

work with all mistakes and help make the necessary corrections and still never gave up on me

and in his own way encouraged me to carry on to the end.

Our regards also goes to the worthy and able lecturers of Dinalupihan Municipal Officers

especially to, Mr. Hector Lintag (PESO officers) and Ms. Amelita Penaflor (DBO Head), for

Work Immersion, as part of K-12 curriculum, we, Technical Vocational - Computer

System Servicing students (TVL CSS) students were required to gain relevant learning

experiences through actual work. Fortunately, we were assigned in Municipality of Dinalupihan

under Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office as to be genuine working setting where

I can improve my abilities learned in school.

This work immersion is designed to give students the capabilities that they can use in

their college years. Working in Municipality of Dinalupihan, under Municipal Social Welfare

and Development Office can make your perspective in life changed. You will know the bond

they have inside the four corners and will realize how important small things can be. Written in

this portfolio are the experiences and reflections as a work immersion student in Municipality of

Dinalupihan under Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office in the school year 2018-

2019.

This portfolio will state the lessons and understanding of the Senior High School students

about work immersion.

 INTRODUCTION

Work immersion refers to the subject of the Senior High School curriculum which

involves hands-on experience or work simulation in which learners can apply their competencies

and acquired knowledge relevant to their track.

Work immersion enables learners to become familiar with the workplace, simulate work,

and apply their competencies in authentic work environments.

Work immersion will help to develop among the learners life and career skills, and will

help prepare them to make decisions on post secondary education or employment. Trough

partnership building, DepEd hopes that the Partner Institution will provide learners with work

immersion opportunities, workplace or hands-on experience, and additional learning resources. It

aims to make the learners:

1. Appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories learned in

school;

2. Enhance their technical knowledge and skills;

3. Enrich their skills in communications and human relations; and

4. Develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation and respect for work
Duration and Place of Work Immersion

The work immersion had started on January 21 to January 25,2019 ,January 28 to

February 1, 2019 and lastly February 4, 2019. The time started from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, we

have given 8 hours per day. The training was held in Municipality of Dinalupihan located at

Brgy. San Ramon Dinalupihan, Bataan.

 Day 1 (Monday)

January 21,2018

This is the day that Work Immersion start, Municipility of Dinalupihan. This day started
on Flag ceremony program, after flag ceremony we went at the office of Mr. Hector Lintag to be
oriented about the Rules and Regulation of Municipal office and he also distribute us in different
department or offices inside the Municipality. I am assigned in the Municipal Social Welfare and
Development Office and this is also the time of work, I encode the name of Senior Citizens. It is
hard to done before in the end of the day because you need to find the baranggay’s and put their
name alphabetical. But I already finished this before I leave on the office.
 Day 2 (Tuesday)

January 22, 2018

This is My second day in Work Immersion, I arrived at the Municipality at 7:40 AM. One
of the employee of Budget office assign me to distribute the different documents on the different
offices, She give me an instruction about how can I distribute the papers, She said when I give
the papers to the Personnel I will give the receiving papers that will signed. At the afternoon
there’s another papers work that I will do this will be arranging the folder of Sangguniang
Kabataan (SK) Annual Income accordingly to their barangay, In the end of the day I did not
finish this activity because it is also time to pack up.
 Day 3 (Wednesday)
January 23, 2018

My third day in Work Immersion at Municipality of Dinalupihan, I went in office at 7:50

AM and this is also the time to continue the task that I did not finish yesterday, I start doing this
until the time of 12:00 Pm with the help my classmate Merald Cachero. At the afternoon I started
to Staple all the papers in the folder It will be time consume because of too much papers but I
already finished this until the end of the day and I already sent it to the Sangguniang Bayang
Office and I also leave at the office to go in my house.
 Day 4 (Thursday)

My third day in Work Immersion at Municipality of Dinalupihan, I went in office at 7:40

AM. I assigned at the computer works, Mr. Noelle give me and my friend a task which is to
make a soft copy of Obligation Request that I’ve done in the first day. I accepted the task
because I am CSS student as I have a skills in using Microsoft Excel I used this because It will
help me to solve fast the different amount of money and Excel is all about numbers that why it
may help me tp finished this activity until 5:00 PM. And I already finished this on the given
time.

me a task about computation of budget of different barangays. She give me an Instruction and
formula on how to solve the problem , I started to do this it was a hardly work because I hate a
lot about numbers specially when computing but aspire I learn on how to compute this, it makes
my day, A Learn day . And in the help of the work immersion and the Employees of Budget I
finished this hard task until the end of work hours.

Observation, Insights, Overall Reflection and Self-Appraisal

The first thing that I felt is Excitement because I will attached to different kinds of

employees but there’s also a nervous in my body because my first impression to the Municipal

office is so strict, no one’s Joking everyone are serious on their job and I have no idea on what

they really doing inside of their offices

Days had passed and everything is doing great, were use to what is the routine first thing

in the morning and that is to come early and perform the daily attendance to know if there’s an

absent for that day and it is also the start of too much paper works that’s everyone enjoying I

don’t why ?

Those days are very good in each and everyone of us. We learned a lot of things, the

knowledge and skills are improving because of different task given by our Head office who

didn’t give up on us in lecturing the lessons that we need in the future. It was a privilege indeed

to be one of those students who was given an opportunity to be one them.

The most important things, the memories that we created and the relationship that we

build in training days that we’re together. It is overwhelmed for me to join and to be part of their

department because they help me to improve my personality as a human, they built my skills and

they teach me on how to communicate to the others in a good way. And also I learn a lot on how

to compute the annual of budget Barangays even though I hate solving.I become more

perspective person and to top it all we became the better version that one person must be.
