Biography of late PA JUSTUS ABIODUN NUGA JP

Late pa Justus Abiodun Nuga JP was born on Tuesday December 25 1917 by Late Pa Benjamin O. Nuga a
general merchant Itantebo Ijebu Ode and Madam Olufowora Nuga cloth seller (Eleso Aluko). He was
educated at African Bethleh a school, Odopotu Ijebu Ode. He later proceeded with his brother F. A.
Nuga JP working in Nigeria post office and telegraphs in Lagos. He later moved to Ibadan to meet his
brother T. O. Nuga JP. Daddy was an importer of woolen material and electrical wares. At the outbreak
of the second world war in 1939, Late Pa Justus Abiodun Nuga joined the Royal West African Frontier
Forces (R.W.A.F.F)

On leaving the army, he worked as a civil servant for a while before returning to his full-time trading
business. He married his wife Josephine Ayodeji Nuga Nee Adesanya of Odo Egbo Ijebu Ode, in
December 25 1947. He was blessed with children, grand children and great grand children. He invested
much on his children's education and well being both on Nigeria and overseas. Late Pa Justus Abiodun
Nuga went on pilgrimage to Rome, Jerusalem the holy land and London with his wife and grand child in
1980 in pursuit of his religious ambitions. He encouraged the spread of the gospel of Christ by the co
founding of one igbalal Ayo Spiritual Church Of Christ (C&S) with his wife at his residence 55, Sebanjo
Str. Mushin Lagos. He was the first Baba Ijo of the church. And to God be the glory it was under his very
strict supervision with devotion with other able members of the church, that the church cathedral was
built to be a worshipping standard under nine months. (The cathedral church foundation was laid in the
year 1981).
