PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION: THE BASICS

balance between time and budget or customers with great satisfaction.

Points to consider when choosing the mode of transport:

The budget: must be taken into account as the main point in decision making.
Transport speed: the expiration date of the product to be dispatched must be taken
into account.
Reliable transportation: to have satisfied customers.
Transportation of dangerous products: report to the branch of the Department of
Transportation of Dangerous Goods and follow the proposal.
Product insurance: in case they are very expensive.

Transport modes

Choosing the right mode depends on the size and urgency of the shipment.

distances of more than 150 miles

It depends on the passenger's schedule.

organized.

Container ship: carry 20 'or 40' containers

Cargo ships: loose cargo
Bulk carriers: transport grain, coal, etc.
Tankers: carry liquids
Roll-on roll-off vessels: cargo transport

There are two types of shipping:

Line ships operate on fixed routes with fixed schedules

Homeless ships operate entirely in accordance with the demand of the
person who rents them
Messengers are faster, more reliable and more secure. They can also be more
expensive.
They deliver products up to a certain weight. They are economically viable up to
short distances.
