I. INTRODUCTION
With the theme: "Action and Responsibility Rooted in God's Love", the youth serves as
a stakeholder for change. Through being socially aware, we can discern what proper actions
should be done in order to create harmony in the community. Responsibility is not only for
those who have superior power but an aspect which an individual should possess as a
member of the community so that they will be sustainable, disciplined, and and stand for the
vision which is to be "Makadiyos, Makatao, at Makabayan." In line with this, the Talisay-
Banawa Team and We the North Team have merged their resources and had a unified
concensus of launching a project that aims to provide a solution of the rampant social issue
evident in the community. The collaborative efforts of the teams are shown to achieve the
primary goal of the team which is to help the townspeople minimize their wastes and as well
as to promote Christian values within theirselves as well as in the community.
II. STATEMENT OF NEEDS
In Barangay Tungkop, there are a lot of problems needed to be mitigated. One of the
problems would be water pollution, for they live near the sea. Waste segregation and throwing
of garbages are also not properly implemented in their area. Our focus and main goal is to
discipline the residents and to come up with a project to help them clean their area. We are
concerned with this specific problems because imroper waste disposal may add to the
growing number of diseases in their area and thus, children are the most likely to be affected.
III. GOALS/OBJECTIVES
The teams has the following objectives:
• To gather the residents of Brgy. Tungkop in the designated venue;
• To educate them about the effects of improper garbage disposal;
• To engage them with the clean up drive;
• To help them clean their environment;
• To promote Christian values to the children;
• To share the story of God to the children; and
• To be able to share the life of Jesus.

X. CLOSING PRAYER
“Lord God, thank you for giving us this opportunity to provide assistance to barangay
Tungkop. I would like to ask for your help to retain the lessons that we have conveyed to the
residents of the barangay, parents and the children. Through thus activity, may they continue
this program that we have initiated. Lastly, may you provide guidance and protection to those
who need it, especially to those who are going back to their homes. This we ask in Jesus'
name, Amen.”
