The observation occurred in the ESE Resource Room. The student teacher was observed collaborating with her Cooperating Teacher. They
were developing lesson plans for the following week. Lesson plans are for both push-in and pull-out groups. The student teacher shared her
Student Teaching Binder with the observer. This consisted of schedule, support logs, lesson plans, materials, progress monitoring sheets, and
other resources.
Recommendation: Include your previous observation forms in your student teaching binder.

2.B. Manages individual and class behaviors through a well-planned management system
The Cooperating Teacher reports that the student teacher is very organized. She takes initiative, ask questions, and works cooperatively with
both general education and ESE teachers. The lesson plans reviewed contain evidence of accommodations and standards at students’ grade
levels. There was evidence of technology being infused in the classroom.

Actionable Feedback Specific to Instructional Delivery and Facilitation:
Various instructional approaches are used to engage learners. Lesson plans are based on students’ IEP goals. During pull-out sessions, the
student teacher works on IEP goals. Data is collected on these goals. The student teacher has become fluent in various reading programs and
strategies.

Formative and summative assessments are used to design lessons. When working with students, data tracking sheets are used. This
information is stored in the student teacher’s binder and is used to develop IEPs and goals.
