ACS790: New in ACS790!

ACS tool
ACS790 V9/V10 includes important improvements. It permits significantly more efficient workflows. At
the same time, the program is more user-friendly and thus easier to use.

Example of the new user interface

New ACS 790 functions

Supported • Support of Windows OS 32-bit and 64-bit (Windows 7, Windows 8, and

Environment Windows 10).
• Support of Microsoft Office 32-bit and 64-bit.
Offline engineering • KNX and LPB plants can be created offline by using V9 and device
libraries.
• Existing plants can be edited and extended offline.
Zone definition • All possible zones are listed, based on the device configuration.
• Zone assignment of the devices is easy and fast.
• Zone Reporting
Plant state • The "Plant commissioning" application displays the state of all installed
plant devices.
• Individual devices or the entire plant can be started and stopped in this
view.
Communication • Multiple, different connections can be selected is a plant has multiple
interfaces communication interfaces. For example, plants equipped with OCI700
can be operated (operator station).
User's guide • A user's guide is available for plant engineering and commissioning.

Error and warning • An error and warning viewer is available for the applications
viewer "Topology", "Engineering", and "Plant commissioning".

Multiple connections • You can now simultaneously connect to all communications partners
to plants within a plant.
Example: OCI700KNX, OZW775, OZW771 and OZW772.
• In contrast to previous ACS versions, you no longer need to set up an
individual ACS project for each communications path as of ACS version
9.
Executor Viewer • Centralized view of tasks currently running.
• Automatic generation of reports locally or sent via e-mail

Multi-Instances of the ACSTool.exe can be started multiple times. The advantage is the ability to
ACS Tool manage, edit, and analyze multiple ACS projects simultaneously.
Note: A plant can only have one ACSTool.exe instance open at a time.

Topology Bus power supply and IP Router are now available in the bus topology pane of
the Topology application.

Reporting Enhancements in ACS reporting

Remote access to User can connect the OZW772 and OZW672 central units over Internet via
central units over cloud using Remote Tool Access application. ACS operations can be performed
Internet via cloud newly over Internet via cloud.

Read and Write The Read and Write Parameter Set operation runs in parallel using the selected
parameter set multiple connections. This operation is helpful where the connections are
operation optimized distributed over multiple areas and lines with two or more couplers. This is
applicable for KNX-Bus only.

Automatic Devices connected through USB are automatically recognized and details are
recognition of USB displayed in the Connections dialog section of Create ACS project window.

Reasons for selecting this method:
• Prepare a plant in the office,
• Extend a plant in the office,
• Evaluate imported data, if the plant cannot be connected.
• Analyze problems with the plant, if the plant cannot be connected.

The following business and technical considerations apply to determining the method:
• The plant need not be available.
• Connection to plant is not mandatory.
• Commissioning is not or only partially possible.

Additional information is available here.

ACS790: Offline engineering
What is offline engineering?
Creation and development regardless of hardware and location.
Up to version 8, plants could only be created and developed if entire plants or portions thereof were
already available. The goal of offline engineering is to create ACS projects in the office, without hardware
elements, to be able to define and prepare the projects as much and as often as possible. Only then is the
data provides to the technician on site for commissioning.

Focus during offline engineering

• A large percentage of the project can be created and configured by the offline engineer.
• Data (especially commissioning data) can be edited for revision purposes in offline engineering.
• The ACS project includes a documentation folder that can store any number of additional
documents.

When is offline engineering used?

Use offline engineering – as much as possible – on the following cases:
• New plants.
• Extensions to existing plants where the original data is no longer available.
• Extension, prepared in advance in the office, e.g. since the hardware is not yet available.
• Partial commissioning, if hardware is not yet available.
• To replace devices.

Main work steps during offline engineering

1. Create ACS project.
2. Set up topology.
3. Configure project in plant engineering.
4. Handover project to the service technician.
5. Set up connection.
6. Match offline and online devices.
7. Download parameters.
8. Commission plants and devices.
9. Resolve warnings and error messages as per the Warning Viewer.
10. Create commissioning reports.
11. Provide document changes for revision.
12. Handover ACS project including documentation to the office engineer.
13. Conduct revision in the office.
14. Handover and archive documentation and project data.
15. Additional, voluntary activities (*).
16. Handover project data and documentation to the responsible end user.

* Additional, voluntary activities.

Prepare the following objects prior to commissioning or after a revision in the office:
• User-defined popcards.
• User-defined diagrams.
• Trend and task definition.
ACS790: Online configuration
What is online engineering?
Creation and development by hardware and location.
ACS plants are created and developed in online engineering if entire plants, or portions thereof, are
available. Offline engineering can be conducted in advance, but is not required.

When is online engineering used?

Conditions
• KNX ACS project connected with OCI700 or OCI702
• LPB or BSB ACS project connected with OCI700
• Non-communicating devices connected with OCI700
• M-bus ACS project
• A Central Unit/Device connected via US

Use online engineering – as much as possible – on the following cases:

• New plants without offline engineering data,
• Extensions to existing plants where the original data is no longer available,
• Extensions, that cannot be prepared in advance in the office, e.g. since the hardware is not yet
available,
• Partial commissioning on available hardware.
• Online device replacement.

Main steps during online engineering

1. Create ACS project.
2. Connect and search devices.
3. Create commissioning report. Actions from this report may include:
• Import all values.
• Import all settings.
• Import device list from central units.
4. Troubleshoot possible causes of warnings and errors as per the error and warning viewer.
5. Engineering and commissioning of devices and/or plants as per task, e.g.:
• Adapt topology,
• Adapt parameters,
• Exchange devices,
• Analyze and adapt settings, e.g. KNX zone addressing.
6. Create commissioning reports.
7. Prepare documents changes for revision.
8. Handover ACS project including documentation to the office engineer.
9. Conduct revision in the office.
10. Handover and archive documentation and project data.
11. Optional steps.
12. Handover project data and documentation to the end user (e.g. building manager).

ACS790:
Document project

ACS790 permits a project to be freely documented. In other words, not just saving the technical project
to a define location (i.e. the project folder), but rather for any other items including building floor plans,
meeting notes, etc. by filing it to a corresponding location within the project folder.
The benefit of this concept: The project folder includes the sum total of project material at a single
location. When transporting a project to another computer or other storage location, the entire project is
transferred. This makes particular sense for archiving.
Pack & Go remains the preferred method when using an existing project as a template for a new one.

1 – Storage path of all projects

2 – Project list
The project folder identified with a bus symbol instead of a Windows folder symbol.

IP Router

Introduction to IP Router
The IP Router N146/02 is a DIN rail-mounted device.
The device implements the KNXnet/IP standard and connects KNX lines through data networks using the
Internet Protocol (IP). The IP Router also offers concurrent access to the bus line from a PC or data
processing equipment.
The physical connection to the KNX is established through a bus connector terminal block. The device
contains a RJ45 socket to make connection to the data network (IP through 10Base-T).
The IP Router has the following characteristics:
• Direct access to the KNX installation from any access point to the IP network (KNXnet/IP
Tunneling)
• Fast communication between KNX lines, areas and systems (KNXnet/IP Routing)
• Communication between buildings and facilities
• Easy connection to supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and facility management
systems
• Filtering and routing of telegrams depending on individual address and group address

The physical address of the IP Router assigned by the ETS Tool software automatically determines the IP
Router function as a line coupler or an area coupler.
The IP Router functions as Area coupler or line coupler based on the following assignments:

Coupler function Line

Area Coupler Main Line 1 - 15
Line Coupler Line 1 - 15

How to use IP Router in ACS project

IP Routers can be configured in an ACS project in the following manner:
1. IP Router as an Area coupler (Area only)
2. IP Router as a Line coupler (Line only)
3. IP Router as an Area coupler or a Line coupler (Mix)
You must adhere to three rules while configuring IP Router in a project.
• Rule 1: In general, an IP Router is used as a line coupler or an area coupler. The physical address
has the format x.y.0, with x = 1…15, y = 1…15.
• Rule 2: If an IP Router is applied as an area coupler with the physical address x.0.0, then no other
IP Router with the line coupler address x.y.0 (y = 1…15) shall be placed topologically under this IP
Router.
• Rule 3: If an IP Router is applied as a line coupler (e.g. with physical address 1.2.0) then no other
IP Router shall be used with a superior area coupler address (e.g. 1.0.0) in this installation
You must take care while configuring the IP Router and LC coupler in a project, so that the IP Router and
LC coupler receive topologically correct physical addresses.

1. IP Router as an Area coupler (Area only)

To configure an IP Router as an Area coupler, you must drag and drop the IP Router available in the
structure pane of the Standard device library to the Areas in the bus topology pane of the KNX project.
LC line coupler can be connected to the IP Router (Area coupler) at one end, whereas KNX devices can be
connected to other end of the LC line coupler.

The following overview diagram describes the IP Routers configured as Area couplers in the KNX project.
In this example, the IP Routers (1.0.0 and 2.0.0) act as Area couplers. LC line couplers (1.1.0-1.3.0, 2.1.0,
2.2.0) are connected to the IP Routers configured in the Project. KNX devices are connected to the LC line
couplers.

2. IP Router as a Line coupler (Line only)

To configure an IP Router as a Line coupler, you must drag and drop the IP Router available in the
structure pane of the Standard device library to the Lines under an IP Area or directly on the backbone in
the bus topology pane of the KNX project. KNX devices will be directly connected to the IP Router (Line
coupler).

The following overview diagram describes the IP Routers configured as Line couplers in the KNX project.

In this example, the IP Routers (1.1.0-1.3.0, 2.1.0, 2.2.0) act as Line couplers. KNX devices are directly
connected to the IP Routers (Line couplers). No other IP Router can be connected at the top position
(1.0.0) in the topology.

3. IP Router as an Area coupler or a Line coupler (Mix)

To configure an IP Router as a Line coupler and another IP Router as an Area coupler in a project, you
must drag and drop the IP Router available in the structure pane of the Standard device library to the
Areas and Lines in the bus topology pane of the KNX project.

The following overview diagram describes the IP Routers configured as Area coupler and Line coupler in
the KNX project.

In this example, the IP Routers (1.1.0 and 3.3.0) act as Line couplers and the IP Router (2.0.0) acts as an
Area coupler. LC Line couplers (2.1.0 and 2.2.0) and KNX devices are connected to the IP Routers (Area
coupler) configured in the Project. KNX devices are also connected directly to the Line couplers (IP
Router) in the project. No other IP Router can be connected at the top position (1.0.0) in the topology, in
case the IP Router is configured as a Line coupler.

Error and warning viewer

Errors and warnings will display in the Error and warning viewer of ACS tool in the following cases when
configuring the IP Router:
1. When IP router is not connected at the topmost hierarchy of a project.
2. When more than one IP router have same address. You must assign different addresses for the IP
Routers (Line coupler and Area coupler) configured in a project.
The following screenshots are examples for the errors occurred when configuring IP Router in the KNX
project.

You can double-click the error/warning displayed in the Error and warning viewer and follow the
instructions to resolve the error/warning with possible solutions.
Procedure: See Resolve errors and warnings.
ACS790:
Resolve errors and warnings

«Overview of errors and warnings from the plant or plant configuration.»

Error
Error messages are outputted when an error occurs that renders plant operation impossible or severely
limits it.
NOTE
The cause of the error must be eliminated.

Warning messages
Warnings are color coded. The principle applies: "The more red, the more severe the warning is
weighted."
Causes of warnings must be eliminated as quickly as possible as per the urgency.

Errors and warnings are displayed in a separate partial pane:

Typical displays after generating a topology.

The warnings and errors are described in detail so that any correction is easily designed.
ACS proposes a solution on some errors and warning types.

Troubleshooting errors and warnings

The following example illustrates what ACS can offer for this event. All errors and warning may offer other
opportunities.
The tasks for the solutions are pretty much similar or are the same.

Zones

ACS790:
Zones – Introduction

ACS can establish and address zone and zone type both in Offline engineering as well as in the Online
configuration.

Zones and zone types

• A zone is defined as a "Building or plant specific area".
• Zones are used to exchange information among devices within a common bus system.
• Zones are divided into zone types each processes specific information.

Example

Zone type Specific information

Geographic zone Exchange of scheduler programs and/or setpoints.
Outside air temperature zone Exchange of outside temperature value

Communication within zones

1:1 or 1:n relation exists within a zone. In other words, "someone talks, the others listen", or "someone
listens while other participants report their requests".
Multiple zones can be defined for each specific zone type. They are signed based on numbering.
See "Define and address zones".

Example

Zone type Sender Receiver

Outside Device 1 Device 2

temperature Where outside The information on
zone 1 temperature sensor outside temperature is
NORTH is connected. sent by device 1.
Outside Device 3 Device 4 and 5
temperature Where outside The information on
zone 2 temperature sensor outside temperature is
SOUTH is connected. sent by device 3.

Configure zone-specific parameters (connectors)

All devices include zone-specific parameters (connectors). They can be switched on, off, or edited
(defined).
Note that switched off connectors do not display in the zone edit view.

Information on zone-specific parameters (connectors)

The information (e.g. zone types, settings, communications diagram, etc.) is available in the applicable
device manual.
ACS790:
Define and address zones

You can define and address zones in ACS and assign devices (connectors).
The steps for these tasks are described using the following examples.

Example

Zone type Transmitter Receiver

Outside Device 1 Device 2

temperature Where outside The information on
zone 1 temperature sensor outside temperature is
NORTH is connected. sent by device 1.
Outside Device 3 Device 4 and 5
temperature Where outside The information on
zone 2 temperature sensor outside temperature is
SOUTH is connected. sent by device 3.

In this value, create and/or process zones and zone types:

Requirements
• The control units as well as assigned devices are located in the topology.
• All desired zone-specific parameters (connectors) must be set in the devices parameter set.
Note that switched off connectors do not display in the zone edit view.

Tasks – Change by zones

1. Select Menu > Applications: > Plant engineering.
2. Partial pane "Plant engineering": > Expand the plant: Select > Present parameter set.
3. Expand the zone type (in our example: Outside temperature zone).
• The title of the zone type indicates how many zones have already been defined for this type.
• The expanded area displays the defined zones.

Tasks (create and/or edit control unit device lists)

Important: Zones cannot yet be defined for the following tasks.

The field is initially empty after expanding the area outside temperature zone.
4. Right-click the empty field > Context menu > Add zone.
---> Creates an initial folder with the same name as the field name (in our example "Outside temperature
zone").
5. Optional: In the "Properties" dialog box, edit the zone name and zone address.
The zone name can also be edited directly in the dialog box for editing mode "Current parameter set".
But the zone address cannot be changed here.
6. Add additional zones as needed.
7. Click the desired category in the "Selection zone elements" dialog box.
In the example: Transmitter.
8. Expand object (device) > Drag the connector and save it to the desired zone under the
"Transmitter" folder.
In the example for connector "outside temperature" for the RMH760, drag it to Outside temperature
zone > Transmitter.
9. Click the desired category in the "Selection zone elements" dialog box.
In the example: Receiver.
10. Expand object (device) > Drag the connector and save to the desired zone under the "Receiver"
folder.
In the example for connector "outside temperature" for the RMH705, drag it to Outside temperature
zone > Receiver.
11. Repeat steps 7-10 above for the next outside temperature zone(s).
12. Optional: Added zones or devices can be dragged to another zone in the Edit mode dialog box for
the "Current parameter set", by right clicking and selecting "Delete" or "Cut".
A deleted device is displayed in the "Select zone elements" as an unassigned device.

Important!
1. Changes made in the steps above are now saved:
• On the ACS project
• In the parameters of the impacted devices

2. For the changes to apply to the plant as well: Write the parameter sets for the impacted devices
to the plant.
3. Each time the parameter sets are Read, the view for the zone settings in the edit mode dialog
field for "Current parameter set" are updated with the device parameters.
Recognized, troubleshoot errors/warnings
Errors made to the tasks above are compiled in the Error and warning viewer.

You can resolve errors and warning here: Resolve errors and warnings.
Central unit device list

ACS790:
Central unit device list—Introduction

An image of the central device list is saved in ACS (ACS device list). It is important to always synchronize
both device lists. The central unit list can be created, refreshed, and edited in ACS.

Important changes from ACS V8 to ACS V9 and higher

In ACS V8, search devices also refreshed the central unit list. After the process, the central units as well as
all units from the central unit list are displayed in ACS.
In ACS V9 and higher, search devices option is now used for coupling (the central unit in ACS with the
central unit on the plant). Devices from the central unit list are added to ACS using the process "Update
central unit device list".

Note
The central unit device list is a component of the control unit parameter set. The central device list is also
read/written each time the central unit's parameter set is read/written.

ACS790:
Connections – Introduction

With the introduction of ACS V9, you can work with a plant using multiple connections. In contrast to
previous ACS versions, this means you no longer need to set up an individual ACS project for each
communications path. ("Real" connection)
Offline engineering can also connect devices from an ACS project with plant devices or purposely
disconnect them, e.g. when replacing a device. Furthermore, you can assign ACS project device to a
control unit (device list). ("Virtual connection", assign)

ACS790:
Data point access to central units

A direct connection to the actual central unit is required to access data points from central units.
Data communication via OCI700, OCI702 or N148 is significantly faster than on central units. As a result,
it is important to commission plants where possible using these devices.

Example
Given
A plant consists of the following devices:
OCI700-KNX (Bus Interface) => Connection via USB
OZW775 (KNX central unit)) => Connection via USB (RNDIS)
OZW772 (KNX central unit) => Connection via Ethernet
OZW771 (KNX central unit) => Connection over analog modem

To be determined
How is data point access organized?

Solutions
1. All connection instances (OCI700KNX, OZW775, OZW772, OZW771) can be used to access data
points from the control (no central unit), e.g. heating controller RMH760B.
2. Only OZW775 connections can be used to access data points on the OZW775. In other words, the
ACS must be connected to OZW775 to read and write OZW775 data points.
3. Only OZW772 connections can be used to access data points on the OZW772. In other words, the
ACS must be connected to OZW772 to read and write OZW772 data points.
4. Only OZW771 connections can be used to access data points on the OZW771. In other words, the
ACS must be connected to OZW771 to read and write OZW771 data points.
ACS790:
Select connections

You can connect via bus gateways as follows:

Connect (direct connection without setting is possible).

Same behavior for a control unit: > Create offline project > Add N148 to

The maximum number of permitted bus gateways connected to the PC is set as follows:

You can select from possible connections in this dialog box and edit as needed.
Connection details of central units that are connected to the PC via USB are populated automatically.

The dialog box is displayed.

• While connecting, if multiple connections are possible.
• When selecting connections, e.g. computer and central unit tasks.

Comments on dialog box

• Access to data points and devices
Access to specific data points and devices depends on the selected connection. Multiple or all possible
connections can be established to simplified batch operations (e.g. reading an entire plant).
• Data point access to central units
Access to data points for central units is only possible if a direct connection exists to the corresponding
central unit. See as well Data point access on central units.
• Automatic selection of the optimum communication path
In the event that a specific connection is not possible, it automatically selects the next possible
connection within the selected communication paths.
• Edit connections

Trend and Task Manager

ACS790:
Trend and task management – Introduction

The following is an overview of ACS790 development.

ACS V8
ACS790 V8 has four different views in two applications with various workflows.
• Computer trend
• Central unit trend
• File transfer
• ACS batch job

ACS V9
ACS790 V9 no longer includes CS batch job and M-bus (or is no longer supported). At the same time, the
workflows for the views below were refined.
• Computer trend
• Central unit trend
• File transfer

ACS V10
The different views were simplified in ACS V10 wand the overall workflow was designed to be user
friendly. The application "Trend and task manager" exclusively includes the following components:
• Computer trend
• Computer – File read task
• Computer – Data point write
• Central unit trend

Note
• File transfer (this view is available for special requirements)
• Executor viewer (new component outside the ACS Tool)

Changes to designations
The following component designations were changed as part of the revision for V10:

ACS790:
Computer and central unit tasks – Introduction

The trend and task manager distinguishes between the following areas:

Computer tasks
All tasks within an ACS project and a continuous ACS connection required for execution are referred to as
"computer" tasks. Requires a computer to execute.

Central unit tasks

All tasks within an ACS project that do not require a continuous ACS connection for execution are referred
to as central unit tasks. They can be executed without a computer since the central unit, e.g. OZW775
takes over execution.
Note the following:
• A central unit must be available in the ACS project for central unit tasks.
• The OZW775 displays in the OZW775 in the trend and task manager if the central unit (here the
OZW775). Central unit tasks can be defined on OZW775 nodes within the trend and task manager
application.

Task definition
Definitions can be:
• Created offline,
• Exchanged within the project, e.g. a computer trend becomes a central unit trend and vice-versa
(copy/paste),
• Exchanged outside the project, e.g. computer trend is added to ACS project B (export/import)
from ACS project A,
• Used as a template (export/import).

Definitions include:
• Name,
• Description,
• Interval,
• Connection parameter,
• Data points,
• (Computer tasks only): Definition for automatic generation of reports, including sending e-mails.

Note
• Tasks do not provide insight into time of execution.
• The definitions reside exclusively in an ACS project.

ACS790:
Manage computer and central unit tasks

Display status or editing of central unit trends as well as computer trend and tasks.

Overview
All trend/task definitions, including status, are displayed when selecting the computer or central unit
node (e.g. OZW772) in the topology view.

Overview (trends/tasks)
Data points or files are displayed in the Edit view when you select the trend/task in the topology view.
The "Properties" dialog box displays all the properties for the selected object, including editing.
Note: Trends/tasks can no longer be edited after the first start.

Copy/Insert
All trends/tasks can be copied (duplicated) within the "Computer" node.
Moreover, trends can be copied (duplicated between computer and central unit nodes, e.g. OZW772 (or
vice versa).

Export/import elements
Trend/task definitions can be exported or imported.
Application examples
1.
• Exchange or reuse trends/tasks on other ACS projects.
• Create trend/task definition libraries as blocks for additional ACS projects.

The following, additional options are available for trends/tasks:

• Delete

Define computer data point write task

Computer – Data point write task

All tasks within an ACS project requiring a continuous ACS connection for execution are referred to as
"computer" tasks. In other words, a computer is required to execute.

The computer data write task request essentially consists of overwriting data point values
• at a specific interval
• during a specific timeframe, and
• output of results to a value table.

Use
It makes sense if you want to reduce or distribute peak loads or reactive power. For example, all data
points setpoints or all device operating modes are changes to achieve staged switching of the plant
components without changing the plant's operating state.

Tasks
1. Tree > Computer > Context menu: New data point write task.
---> Opens the "Data point write task definition".

2. Name > Determines the name of the new task.

3. Optional: Description: Freely describe the task.

4. Interval > Click "..." (browse) to select interval.

Upon opening the "Data point write task definition", either the default value (only the first time)
or a previously entered value is displayed. See Table.
The interval is checked each time a data point is added and automatically adapted to the next
possible interval as needed.
The guide value is 1 data point/second.

ACS790:
Define central unit trend

Central unit tasks

All tasks within an ACS project that do not require a continuous ACS connection for execution are referred
to as central unit tasks. They can be executed without a computer since the central unit, e.g. OZW775
takes over execution.
Note the following:
• A central unit must be available in the ACS project for central unit tasks.
• The OZW775 is displayed in the trend and task manager if the central unit is available (here the
OZW775). Central unit tasks can be defined on OZW775 nodes within the trend and task manager
application.

The computer trend is essentially required to log data points

• at a specific interval
• during a specific timeframe, and
• output of results to a value table and
• display an associated trend graphic.

Use
It is used for checking a control algorithm. All data point values are logged that acquire (e.g. temperatures
and valve positions) control response at the start of a refrigeration plant (transient response).

Note
When starting the "Trend and Task Manager, ACS790 automatically attempts to connect all central units.
At the same time, ACS790 runs "Read trend definitions".
"Read trend definitions" can also be run manually via the context menu of the corresponding central unit.

Tasks
1. Tree > Computer > Context menu: Select New Trend...
---> Opens the Trend definition dialog box.

2. Name > Determines the name of the new trend.

ACS790:
Execute computer and central unit tasks

After setting, you can execute computer and central unit tasks.
The following applies:
• Computer tasks can only be executed with a computer.
• Central unit tasks can be executed without computer, since a control unit, e.g. OZW775, takes
over execution.
Note the following:
• A central unit must be available in the ACS project for central unit tasks.
• The OZW775 is displayed in the "Trend and Task Manager" if the central unit is available (here
the OZW775). Central unit tasks can be defined on OZW775 nodes within the "Trend and Task

ACS790: Windows error reporting
Windows error reporting (WER) is a crash reporting technology introduced by Microsoft with Windows XP
and included in the later versions of Windows.
When the ACS Tool is crashed, Windows generates an error report which contains crash dumps. The error
report is sent to the ACS error reporting team for troubleshooting purposes. The ACS Tool will restart
after creating the crash dumps in the specified path.
The default path of the error report is %LOCALAPPDATA%\Siemens\ACS790\CrashDumps.

Whenever the ACS Tool restarts after crash, the following "Finalize Crash Dumps" dialog box opens:

There are three options available in the "Finalize Crash Dumps" dialog box.
Option 1: User can send all crash dumps stored in the specified path through email and then delete the
crash dumps from the directory.
Email setup must be configured in the machine for sending the crash dumps to the ACS error reporting
team.
Option 2: User can send all crash dumps via email later.
Until the user selects the option 1 or option 3, the "Finalize Crash Dumps" dialog box will appear again
on every ACS Tool restart after crash, even if a single crash dump is available in the machine.
Option 3: User can delete all crash dumps stored in the specified path if no user action is required.
In this case, the crash dumps will be deleted and will not be sent to anyone.
Please manually delete the crash dumps in case the machine has not enough space.
