The products are developed and produced in compliance with the relevant interna-
tional and European safety standards. Should additional country-specific, local sa-
fety standards or regulations concerning project planning, assembly, installation,
operation and disposal of the product apply in the place of operation, then these
standards or regulations must also be taken into account in addition to the safety
regulations mentioned in the product documentation.
Electrical installations
DANGER Any work on electrical installations may only be carried out by qualified electri-
Work on electrical cians or instructed persons working under the guidance and supervision of a
installations qualified electrician, in accordance with the electro technical regulations.

– Alarm period not taken into account (in most countries, an alarming period of
10...30 min. with the effective connected alarm devices must be additionally
taken into account).

Special structures now need to be counted equivalent to the following number of devices:
Structure Number
of
devices
z D-Bus participants with an own D-Bus address
(e.g. DOT1151, DO1131, DM1154, DCW1151, DOW1171...)
1
z FDnet participants with an own FDnet address
(e.g. DOOT2x1, DO2x1, DM2x1, DS221 ....)
z Each used input or output of FDnet, interactive or AnalogPLUS I/O devices
Example: DC1157 with 3 Inputs –> 6 devices
DC1154 with 1 output and 1 input for confirmation message –> 4 devices 2
DCI222 with 4 Inputs –> 8 devices
DCIO222 with 4 outputs and 4 Inputs –> 16 devices
z Purely logical controls: Each 'element command' or 'zone control' not directly connected
2
to a channel
z Collective lines (e.g. 1 line of module K3M080, E3M080) 2
Reduce number z Inputs of modules (e.g. E3X120 -> I4, E3L020 -> I2, K3I110 -> LONin, external LON
of nodes or use 2
device -> LONin)
another station z Outputs of modules (e.g. E3X120 -> Q3, E3G050 -> Q1, K3I110 -> LONout, external
2
LON device -> LONout)
Number of z Parallel indicator terminal/synoptic (equipped with up to 384 LEDs / relays) 20
no nodes < X ?
Limits in the logical structure
yes The limits in the logical structure are given by the node type, by the highest possible CSX
number and the maximum amount of display digits. These limits are given by the system
and are independent of the memory capacity.
