I am a university graduate with vast experience in administrative assistance, training, design development, technical competency,
professional independent discipline, and personal motivation. I have received recognition in work ethic, determination, persistence, and
communication skills. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Instructional Science and Technology as a means to challenge my
professional growth and achieve my education goals.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
California State University, Monterey Bay Marina, CA May 2017 – Current
Admissions Specialist
 Downloading and uploading data into CMS using batch processing.
 Daily use of database software, application software, imaging software, labeling software, computer, triple monitors, mouse,
phone, and fax.
 Processing and performing quality control checks on all EDI transcript data, including: applications – domestic, international,
graduate, and undergraduate.
 Downloading, processing, and manually entering test scores, applications, and transcript data, while making sure all
transactions comply with criteria established by the CSU system and CSUMB practices and policies, as well as PeopleSoft
Data Standards.
 Processing fee waivers, and determines unknown school codes. Reviewing information on the application for admission and
requests additional information and/or documentation, as required. Communicating verbally and in written form regarding CSU
and CSUMB policies and procedures.
 Reviewing the validity of documents presented for admission by taking steps to identify falsified information, also, as necessary,
verifying graduation dates.
 Communicating to students and colleagues as necessary both within the office and throughout the university community,
coordinating with other work groups to gather routine information or solve problems.
 Assisting with supervision and prioritization of work assignments for student assistants.

support CSUMB goals and objectives, as needed.
 Interdepartmental project testing for new processes (i.e. extensive weekly testing of functionality for new OCR, external
education page, and quick admit processes prior to implementation); • Managing an office email account that consists of
various requests, such as withdrawing applications and direct communication with students for DOB and SSN requests
 Creating job aids as necessary or per request
 Running and reporting data on multiple complex processes such as Quick Admits, Early Start (for both home and host
students), Mass Matriculation, and Enrollment Confirmations (some processes requires reporting to multiple departments)
 Running daily reports for duplicate IDs, as well as helping to resolve duplicate IDs, which includes creating applications,
transferring application data, and deleting applications
 Helping to resolve ERSS/ERSA errors; communicating to the Chancellor’s Office for IOC code requests to create new California
school codes, as well as creating codes for international and out-of-state institutions
 Correcting sensitive data such as EDI and application errors, which requires comprehending and translating data so that all
processes run correctly.
