THE 125 FUND OVERVIEW

The 125 Fund will give every Westminster Student the opportunity to develop their skills, enhance their
employability and reach their full potential. The Fund will develop student’s confidence and experience, helping
them become well rounded, employable graduates who stand out from the crowd.

The Quintin Hogg Trust is generously matching every donation to The 125 Fund this year, helping us create a
transformative fund for the benefit of Westminster Students. A donation of £10 per month will be worth £20 per
month to Westminster! In these challenging and uncertain times, we need our alumni more than ever to ensure
our students are equipped with the life skills and professional experience they need to get ahead and succeed in
an increasingly competitive graduate job market.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT RAISING MONEY FOR THE CAUSE?
Opportunities created by The 125 Fund will be life changing for our students. Without these development
opportunities, students might not get the grades they require, or worse, they might lose out on their dream job
altogether.
Currently, employers look for more than just a final grade; they want a well-rounded individual with skills and
experience. The 125 Fund is unique in that it allows for each student at Westminster to reach their true potential,
regardless of background or social status. It is giving all students an equal opportunity to receive additional
support and achieve their goals.

Many MA students have to travel abroad to attend conferences or seminars to present their work. For some this is a
crucial part of their course. Funding could cover conference costs and travel.

Grants could go towards accredited courses, TEFL courses, and language courses which all help to boost the
development and employability of students and strengthen the knowledge already learned at University.

Grants received help film students enter their work at Film Festivals.
