BRIXIE: Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen

HEZEKIAH: Maayong hapon mga ka bay and welcome sa atong programa nga way

MENOR-MENOR kay kami dili mo undang sa paghatag og impormasyon di pareha

sa inyong relasyon.

BRIXIE: I am Brixie Joy Dadula

HEZEKIAH: and I am Hezekiah Talara

BRIXIE & HEZEKIAH: We Are Your Host for today

BRIXIE: so without further a do let’s get started

HEZEKIAH: The world continues to spin and spin, and we’ve always heard about the condition of
the climate. We hear about the changing levels of CO2 in our atmosphere and the Earth’s
population contribution to the rise of it.

BRIXIE: Climate is inherently variable. Climate changes from place to place and it varies with time.
The world now faces one of the complex and important issue it has ever had to deal with: climate
change. Climate change today is one of the biggest concerns of human beings on the planet and
the effects of climate change are undeniable and it may cause environmental, social, and
economic threats to the planet.

HEZEKIAH: We already know and easily can highlight several signs of climate change. They are:
rising global sea level, widespread melting of snow and ice, rapidly changing ocean and global
temperatures, and other signs. Climate change is one of the most important challenges of
humankind in this century. The ability to adapt, mitigate and reduce carbon emissions will be
decisive to preserve the world for future generations.
BRIXIE: Ladies and gentlemen be with us as we unravel the mystery on climate change and find
solutions.

HEZEKIAH: We will be join by liberationists and politicians coming from the different countries to
talk about climate change. They are considered as eco warrior these individuals are actively
involved in preventing damage to the environment. First up He is a Chinese politician serving as
General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China,
and Chairman of the Central Military Commission no other than Xi Jinping.

BRIXIE: Our next guest was the first leader of North Korea which she ruled from the country's
establishment in 1948. He held the posts of Premier from 1948 to 1972 and President from 1972
to 1994. He was also the leader of the Workers' Party of Korea from 1949 to 1994 everyone Ms.
KIM BU ANG from Korea.

HEZEKIAH: and last but definitely not the least is an American Indian scholar who is known for
his work on Native American liberation theology she is no other than Ms.George E. "Tink" from
India.

Brixie: So once again ladies and gentlemen our guests

Interview

HEZEKIAH: First up is Chairman Xi Jinping, so for the information of everybody we will be

throwing the same question with our guests. So Mr. Jinping my question is “How do you deal
with climate change in your country?”
Jinping: In China, we've been warming up into spring following the unexpected March storm,
Stella. Summer will be here before we know it—and with the rising temperatures, we’ll see rising
energy bills. So I’m here to share one of the most productive way in order to deal with climate
change. We used solar panel in our country. Solar panels are a great way to offset energy costs,
reduce the environmental impact of your home and provide a host of other benefits, such as
supporting local businesses and contributing to energy independence. Solar power systems derive
clean, pure energy from the sun. Installing solar panels on your home helps combat greenhouse
gas emissions and reduces our collective dependence on fossil fuel. Renewable energy also
improves public health. Coal and natural gas plants produce air and water pollution that is
harmful to human health. But replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy sources, such as solar
power, can reduce premature mortality as well as overall health care costs

HEZEKIAH: Thank you so much Mr. Jinping for sharing with us your solar panel.

Brixie: and now let’s move-on to our next guest Ms. Kim Bu Ang from Korea. So Ms. Kim Bu Ang,
“How do you deal with climate change in your country?”

Kim Bu Ang: Anneyoung so in my country we used Wind Turbines. Wind is a renewable energy
source. Overall, using wind to produce energy has fewer effects on the environment than many
other energy sources. Wind turbines do not release emissions that can pollute the air or water
(with rare exceptions), and they do not require water for cooling. Wind turbines may also reduce
the amount of electricity generation from fossil fuels, which results in lower total air pollution and
carbon dioxide emissions.
HEZEKIAH: Bicycling uses no fuel.

Bicycles take a lot less energy to make than a car.

Bikes don’t require toxic batteries or motor oil.

Riding your bicycle, or cycling, has countless benefits. These can range from personal, to
economic, to social, to environmental and more. Cycling is a good form of exercise. It is also a
simple, eco-friendly transportation option. Due to cycling’s many benefits, more people in the
world own bicycles than cars. In addition, the number of people commuting to and from work on
bicycles has increased significantly in last decade. The more cars we can get off the road, the
better it will be for the environment. Cycling requires no gasoline and, therefore, no harmful
vehicle emissions or smog are released into the air when a person is riding his or her bicycle.
Opting to use your bicycle a few times a week, instead of your car, is one of the simplest ways to
lower your environmental footprint. Idling isn’t an issue when you are cycling. Noise pollution is
reduced as well. Bicycles require no gasoline, no antifreeze and don’t need many of the other
fluids vehicles need to operate. This helps ensure such fluids don’t make their way into local
waterways or the environment itself.

The world is watching.

And hoping.

And learning.

When people are unified change is inevitable.

"I believe that the real problem in this world is not climate change; the real problem is us
because of our ignorance and apathy. What we have to do is to start changing our ways, to start
recalibrating our minds, and redirecting our steps, because together, as a global community, our
micro efforts will have a macro effect to help save our home, our planet. Thank you."
The responsibility to save Mother Earth starts from personal level. In our daily activities, though
we could afford, we should restrain ourselves from using energy excessively. Simple decisions to
reduce the use of water, electricity, transportation etc., could mean a lot in this direction. By
being a model to others in our activities, we can bring about the required social change.

Governments across countries and stakeholders are creating the awareness to save Mother Earth.
Afforestation, rain water harvesting, recycling waste, cutting industrial pollution etc., are some
efforts of the various Governments. Observing International Earth Day and Earth Hour every year
generates sensitivity to the issue. The Paris Agreement of 2015 is the latest corporate step to
keep the damages to the earth in check.

A Mother is the source of life. Causing a mother to suffer cuts the life supply due to the child. So,
to save Mother Earth is to save us children, in turn. With our combined efforts, it is possible to
restore her former resources and glory. In the process, we would also contribute to the welfare of
the future generations.

Saving our planet largely depends on the good habit and dedication of all of us doing our part
and contributing our best to saving the earth. The development and use of technologies that is
environmental friendly so that we would not harm the mother earth. We should try to embrace
the reduction in usage of things that are harmful to the environment, employ the re-usage and
also the recycle of goods and things so that a lesser amount of wastes can be generated.

We should find out and discover the constituents of all the products we use in our daily activities
and try as much as possible to use only products that are eco-friendly. Commercial industries are
leading contributors to global warming and various forms of pollution like air pollution, soil
pollution, water pollution and others. Government made laws, regulations and rules should be put
in place to help battle pollution and also global warming.

To save our Mother earth, it is important to move on to a more sustainable way of living.
Sustainable means we should keep the resources and use them wisely keeping in mind that our
future generations should also be getting a part of it. This type of thought will help us to use
nature, care for it more and ultimately save Mother Earth.

Mahatma Gandhi once said, “What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror
reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and one another”. All Indians must pledge to
contribute in every way possible by adopting environmentally friendly lifestyle to conserve the
environment and save Mother Earth.
