Canon today proudly announces the newest business All-in-One printer PIXMA MX328.
MX328 supports a numerous of intelligent and advanced functions, including the brand
new flat-top design 30-sheet auto document feeder, operational panel on top cover and
newly caller ID rejection and junk fax reject function, which takes care of habitual
operation of each user and makes printing an easier job. In addition, MX328 raises
efficiency by concentrating on every tiny detail, which definitely delivers an efficient and
productive printing experience to all HOME OFFICE users.

Smart Design and Intelligent Features All in MX328

New Flat Auto Document Feeder Design Reducing Opportunity of Dust

Accumulation
Apart from the smart All-in-One functions, including print, scan, copy and facsimile, to
satisfy the diversified needs of HOME OFFICE users, PIXMA MX328 makes
innovations on its design and functions to deliver a more user-friendly operation of a
higher efficiency, which allows users to work smarter and cleverer.

After closing the rear tray, cassette and flat auto document feeder of MX328, allow
freeing up more spaces at home, and reducing the opportunity of accumulating dust,
makes it looking more style and fashionable. Its compact design also allows HOME
OFFICE users to fit it into their apartments with no difficulty and save much space.

Once printing starts, the cassette of MX328 can even be opened automatically (“Magic
Door” Function) to avoid paper jam. Such a thoughtful and smart design delivers more
efficient office printing, manual effort in HOME OFFICE can be minimized.

New On-Top-Cover Operation Panel for Convenient Scanning

The operational panel is located on the top cover of MX328, so the control buttons and
screen will not be blocked by thick books or papers (e.g. newspapers and large-size
books) when scanning is in process, which allows HOME OFFICE users to make

selection to scan or copy large-size books for reports or reference on the interface
even when the printer is in operation, efficiency is greatly raised.

Liftable Scanner Cover for Scanning Large-size Books

Most HOME OFFICE users come from the design industry and they face a common
scanning problem － thick design books always block the top cover of scanner from
covering completely, which complicates the scanning process. The top cover of MX328
is specially designed that it can be lifted, which allows complete covering even when
scanning thick books. It can prevent black shadow on the margin of the scanned

30-Sheet Automatic Document Feeder Reduces Manual Process

PIXMA MX328 is equipped with automatic document feeder, up to 30 A4 sheets or

Newly Caller ID Rejection and Junk Fax Reject Function to Refuse Unnecessary
Documents
Canon MX328 have newly included the Caller ID Rejection and Fax Reception Reject
function, where users can refuse to receive any fax from hided caller ID or those
numbers which have not been informed or these numbers have been saved in the
rejected list. This saves paper and cost by rejecting unnecessary fax automatically.

Direct Scanning to USB Flash Memory for Convenient Scanning

PIXMA MX328 is able to scan and store JPEG and PDF file to USB drive directly. All
the scanned data can be backed up in the flash memory without storing it in computer,
which reduces the complicated process of storing data and makes the procedure
easier for controlling for the HOME OFFICE users.

Super G3 High-speed Fax Function

PIXMA MX328 comes with Super G3 High-speed fax modem, which can transmit an
A4 size B&W document in approximately 3 seconds. Its memory capacity enables to
store up to 50 pages fax, which minimizes the chance of avoid missing important fax
document. The one-touch speed dialing function can store up to 20 locations that save
time and increase efficiency.

PIXMA MX328 delivers a higher printing speed which increases the efficiency. Only 37
seconds are required for printing the first four pages, and printing (ESAT) 7.5 sheets*4
black & white documents and (ESAT) 4.5 sheets*4 color document can be done within
a minute. This helps users to save more time and raises efficiency.

High Speed Image Scanning Ability Scanning can be Converted into PDF File
with Password
PIXMA MX328 incorporates a CIS scanner with capable of up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi
optical resolutions for clearer and more vivid document scanning. MX328 only takes
about 19 seconds to scan a 300 dpi color A4 document, which delivers a more efficient
printing experience. With the use of MP Navigator EX software, it can perform
comprehensive PDF file editing functions like add/delete pages or rearrange the order
of pages, adding password to PDF function. The built-in Optical Character Recognition
(OCR) function for transferring the scanned image into text file, which helps you to
process document translation more efficiently.

D.C.G. Dual Color Gamut Processing Technology Guarantees Unflawed Copy

Processing Technology which allows the printer to prevent and correct faded color and

PIXMA MX328 is equipped with the unique FINE (Full Photo-Lithography Inkjet Nozzle
5 Engineering) technology print head. It’s 2-picolitre ink droplet technology and enable
print heads to deposit a perfect printing quality of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi, which
promise to deliver high-quality prints with grain-free images in the most perfect shades
photos. PIXMA MX328 incorporates a 4-color ink system; the printing ink, which both
