I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Determines the objectives and structures at various kinds of reports.

A. CONTENT STANDARD: The learner understands the principles and uses of surveys,
experiments and scientific observations

B. PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner produces a well-written report for various


disciplines.

III. PROCEDURE:
1. Pre-Activity

C. Checking of Attendance
D. Classroom Management
The students will be asked to arrange the chairs properly and observe silence in the
class.

E. Review
The teacher will ask the students if they had tried to tell a report to their parents if they
were asked, what did they do or happen in the house the whole day when their parents are out?

F. Presentation of the Lesson

1. Activity
The students will be asked if what are their ideas or opinions about a report?

2. Analysis
- What is a report?
- Why is a report important?
- What are the structures of a good report?
3. Abstraction
A report is a document that presents information in an organized format for a specific
audience and purpose.
The objectives of the reports include:

 Reports present adequate information on various aspects of the business.


 All the skills and the knowledge of the professionals are communicated through reports.
 Reports help the top line in decision making.
 A rule and balanced report also helps in problem solving.
 Reports communicate the planning, policies and other matters regarding an organization to the
masses.

4. Application
Let the students generalized what they have learned about the discussion. Why is report very
essential in making an article? How they will determine the structures in writing a report.

IV. Evaluation
A. Fill in the blanks. Determine the structure of the report being described.

Cut a report article and paste it in a bond paper. Determine the different structures of
the report.
