4.0. Useful tips

4.0.1. Moving to 0,3m/s whil assembly process:

• For doing so, X84 in UBA2 must be disconnected and lift in normal from the control cabinet.

4.0.2. Cabin roof “in level” with door sill in lift with encoder positioning:

If we want to do like this, we must activate/deactivate 3 times landing door lock (at any floor except bottom one) and press
landing call  After acting about landing door lock, LOP will make bip signal in that moment we must press that landing call,
and the lift will move down in slow speed and leave the car roof “in level” with that door sill. If after 20 seconds we did not
change to Insepction, lift will return to nomral mode.

4.0.3. Changing motor direction from controller:

POME/DiagPC/DiagPDA  Write in address position AE39=A5, controller will change to 00 or 01 depending on the new
direction; if the process is faulty it will show FF. Activate recall for saving changes.

BOMO  Activate function F7

LD2T  Choose option: INVERT THE OPERATING DIRECTION OF THE MOTOR

4.1. COMMISIONING: First steps

4.1.1. Electrical/mechanical components revision: Checking the installation without power supply

• Right functioning of electrical/mechanical components  all of them are making right contact.

4.1.2. Insolation of the shaft installation  ohm resistance between UBA2 0V and installation earth is zero ohms; J50 must
be placed
4.1.3. Phases Voltages  L1, L2 and L3 are according to the specifications with +10% and -15%

• Voltage in board  input voltage: it must be taken with the connector unplugged from the board; it must follow the order
of the next table 1.
 output voltage: it must be taken with the connector plugged to the board; it must follow the order of
the next table 2.

4.1. COMMISIONING: First steps

4.1.4. Check Safety circuit: SEG, PRES, ENCLAV

4.1.5. In case of group:

• Parameter: mult_number must be differrent in each lift.
• J1 closed only in both ends of the group.
• “RXC2” and “TXC2” leds must be blinking fast (can bus communication OK)

4.1.6. Automatic rescue for lack of power supply: UPS  parameter 32E4 must be
01. Only in HD lifts must be 03

4.1.7. Brake tests: Lift must be in normal, top/bottom level and Static & dinamic
must be done in sequence.

• Static  turning –S72 right or left (I or II position) and keeping so for more
than 4 seconds, one brake (I or II) will be opened; we can see it by LEDs SF1
and SF2, Off=open and On= close. Repeat the same for the other brake.

• Dinamic  After making both static tests; turning –S72 (into position I or II),
hold –S72 in that position and giving order to move from the UBA2 board; then
lift will start to move and when it reachs nominal speed it will activate one
break and lift will be stopped; then realease –S72, send the lift to the floor
where it started (by pressing up/down push button in the UBA2 or by –S154.1.
Repeat the test for the other brake.

4.2. COMMISIONING: Changing board / Upgrading FW versions

Replacing CMC4+ boards:

Always to disconnect the power supply and check jumpers in the new board are in the same place.

Upgrading FirmWare versions:

Leave the controller in rappel or switch lift off. Then we can start to upgrade the FW into CMC4+ boards.
The only FW which is uploaded through the big red connector is the UCM2 (USB2CMC4 or TKE-USB).

The rest of the CMC4+ board should be upgraded through the small red connector of TKE-USB or the
group USB2CMC4+special adapter.

4.2. COMMISIONING: Mandatory steps

Before reaching job site: LCA1 must be activated and take it with you for commisioning +
POME/BOMO/DiagPC/DiagPDA/LD2T,

At job site:

• Shaft teaching
• Load weight device tare

4.2.1. COMMISIONING: Mandatory steps. At job site

Load weight device tare: Follow next steps

With standard load weight cells under cabin:

1. 32D5 = cabin number of resting points (regular Synergy= 04)

2. 32D6 = Nominal load (lest significant byte)
3. 32D7 = Nominal load (most significant byte)
4. Press reset push button
5. Lift in rappel and parameter AE3B = A5 with POMe, or holding red push button in F6 BOMO function 
display will change from *3 to 00, if FF is shown ther was a fault, repeat the process after checking al
the connections are OK.

If we want to know the % of load inside the car  controller must be in rappel; then activate and deactivate
SW3 in the UCM2 and car display will show % of cabin nominal load,

With one load weight cell in traction ropes  Tare must be carried out in 2 steps. First tare at the bottom flor
and second one at the top floor.

4.2.1. COMMISIONING: Mandatory steps. At job site

Shaft teaching: if lift has encoder positioning. LIFT IN NORMAL in bottom floor (FI on and CMB OFF).

• BOMO: acitvate function F4

• POME/DiagPC/DiagPDA: Parameter AE53 = A5
• LD2T: Activate shaft teaching function (Maintenance tab)

When the lift has made a complete travel of the shaft: AE53 or F4 will show «00»: Teach-in correctly
done or «FF» fault during the process.

If «FF» check parameter in function 25: AE38 (8 bits)

Bit 0: Distance between floor out of range.

BIT 1: Distance for secundary speed out of range.
BIT 2: Distance measured with encoder for CMB is too much different than the setted in memory.
BIT 3: Same than BIT2 for CMS.
BIT 6: Nº of magnets is different than expected according to parameters.
BIT 7: Encoder measurements out of range, too much distance.

4.2.1. COMMISIONING: Mandatory steps. At job site

If roll-back problems  enable communication between DMC and VVVF

For working with this option, calibration with two point of load is needed. And activate P8,18 in Vacon VVVF.

Lift in recall

• POME/DiagPC/DiagPDA in address position AE37=A5 or BOMO-F8 or LD2T-Rollback calibration.

• Move lift in recall operation and empty cabin.

• Move lift in recall operation and 100% of load inside cabin.

• When changing to normal, lift will be able to run.

4.2.1. COMMISIONING:Configurating push buttons

Configurating cabin push buttons: Controller in Rappel

We must do so if the FW in UCC2 is changed or any board (UCC2/IMC/BMC) is replaced.

• BOMO: Activating function F5

• POME/DiagPC/DiagPDA: Activating ConfBotLIN AE3A=A5

In this moment car display will change from:

 *3 to 00; in this moment controller is waiting for ‘0’ car call, so we must activate ‘0’ cabin push button;

 then display will change to 01 and we’ll press ‘1’ cabin push button;

 …

 if display shows 40, we’ll press open push button in COP. Ckeck table 3

 Whenever we have finished with push buttons, we’ll press the last one pressed as many time as
needed to get *3 on the display again.

 Now configuration is saved.

Notes:
1. When a short-circuit occurs it may be detected at more than one output in addition to
that which generated it.
2. The drive fault code is calculated using the following formula: vacon fault code =
position + (32, in downward direction) + (64, in upward direction) + (128, if in motion).
3. Brake a indicates first shoe tested and brake b indicates second shoe tested.
