HAPPIEST MOMENT

Wennilyn P. Bataican
BEED-4

After graduating from a high school our next step towards your particular career is
to go to a college. College is supposed to be the most memorable time of my life, it is a
place where you no longer are defined as a person by the people you are friends with or
the way you dress.

On my first day, I will be attending an orientation that will help me bond well with
your fellow students. The senior students will welcome to you to their campus and make
me feel comfortable and welcomed. You no longer use abbreviations such as “Mr.” or
“Mrs.” To any of your teachers, instead you will call them “professor”.

In college I no longer have to consult to my parents for making the decisions for
yourself; you are expected to make your own decision in life, become independent and
confident any hurdles in professional and social life.

College helps me shape my personality and the aims of my life, making it easier
for me to adapt to the kind of working environment that I will face in the future. College
experience not only increases and enhances my strengths, it also helps me in
overcoming the weaknesses.

Happiness is contentment and satisfaction. Finding true happiness is a worthy

goal. The problem is many turn to material possessions to reach that goal. Even if that
new car, diamond ring or cute outfit makes a person happy, it will be short lived and will
leave them longing for the next high. The new car smell fades. The diamonds collect dust.
The outfits become outdated.

True long lasting happiness comes from positive relationships, life experiences
and feelings of purpose. Positive and loving relationships with family and friends fill me
with a sense of contentment and satisfaction. Spending time with them provides me with
more happiness than material possessions. This people can bring comfort, support and
encouragement when we need it most. They are there for us when times are tough.

When we are provided with unconditional love and intimacy through this
relationships we experience true happiness. Another way to find true happiness is
through life experiences. Simple things in life can provide this opportunities. If we take the
time to recognize them, we will see these moments everywhere.

In my experiences since highschool until now the hardship, workhad, struggles,

problems and pain that I incountered is not easy but I will survive it and I call it a
“HAPPINESS”.
