RENT AGREEMENT FOR RESIDENTIAL PREMISES

THE LESSOR THE LESSEE

The LESSOR is the sole and absolute owner of Schedule premises.

The LESSEE and LESSOR have agreed to accept the lease of the above mentioned flat which are
more fully described in the Schedule written here under, hereinafter referred to as the Schedule
premises where the lesser has agreed to grant a lease of the said residential premises to the lessee
under the following terms and condition.

NOW THIS RENT AGREEMENT WITNESSETH AS UNDER: -

1. RENT: The monthly payable by the LESSEE to the LESSOR for the schedule premises.

2. DURATION OF LEASE: The schedule premises is leased to LESSEE for residential


purpose for a period of 11(Eleven) months from the XX-XXX-XXXX
3. DATE OF OCCUPATION: By the LESSE is XX-XXX-XXX the rent will commence
from XX-XXX-XXXX
4. DEPOSIT: The LESSE has paid a below mentioned amount as an interest free security
deposit to LESSOR. The LESSOR shall however refund the deposit amount to the LESSEE
vacates the premises prior to the lease period or on completion of the lease period whichever
is earlier. The LESSOR confirms to have received the said deposit amount.

5. MODE OF PAYMENT: The rent should be paid before 7th Day of the every following
month by cash.

6. ELECTRICITY CHARGES: The LESSEE shall pay the electricity charges to


Corporation on or before the Due date.

7. ALTERATION: The LESSEE should not make any alteration in the structure, electrical,
Wood works and Plumbing to the premises without the written consent of the LESSOR.

8. FITTING AND FIXTURES: The LESSEE shall keep the Premises, fittings and fixtures in
good condition and shall return the said fittings and fixtures in good condition subject to
normal wear and tear.

9. SUBLETTING: The LESSEE shall not assign transfer, sublet or part with the possession of
the premises or any part thereof to anyone else without prior permission of the LESSOR.

10. USE OF PREMISES: The LESSEE shall use the premises for residential purpose only.

11. INSPECTION: The LESSEE shall permit the LESSOR/Authorized Agent to inspect the
Premises by giving prior intimation at all reasonable hours of the day.

12. PAINTING & CLEANING CHARGES: The LESSEE has to pay the below mentioned
amount to the LESSER at the time of vacating.

13. The LESSEE shall keep the said premises in clean & hygienic condition and shall not do or
causes to be done any act which may be a nuisance to other.

14. The LESSEE shall carry on all day to day minor repairs at his/her own cost.

15. That both the parties have read over and understood all the contents of this agreement and
have signed the same without any force or pressure from any side.

In WITNESS WHEREOF the LESSOR/OWNER and the TENANT / LESSEE have executed this
agreement in the presence of the following witness on the day, month and year as first above
mentioned.
