Introduction:
First, thank you for purchasing my product. The information I am
providing you can truly change your life. But only if you want it to!
Don't forget to put what you learn into action!
Understand that I don't write down my random thoughts or “fluff”. You
won't find that here. I'm simply giving you step-by-step instructions on
what has worked for me.
I will show you how to duplicate the success I have created. You're
going to learn how to make thousands of dollars each month, by
giving away FREE gifts. These gifts can be whatever you choose to
give away, DVDs, Video Games, CDs, cash, gift cards, magazine

subscriptions, electronics, and more!
So how can you give these gifts away for free? You will be
partnering with dozens of quality advertisers that are anxious to be
introduced to your website members. They will provide special offers
for your members to choose from. Every time a member completes
one of these special offers, you get paid a commission. Most
commissions are in the $10-20 range, but can go as high as $160 per
offer completed!
4
Have you ever earned points on your credit card, or frequent flyer
miles with your airline? This is the same concept you will be
applying online to earn thousands each month. I'm going to show you
how, step-by-step!
If you have a true desire to make it big, and are searching for a way to
accomplish it, these next few pages are for you!

Chapter One – Selecting your niche
Below is an example of how your website will function.
1. A Visitor interested in movies arrives at your website
2. You offer the visitor a free Columbia House trial
3. The visitor completes the free trial (earning you a commission)
and you ship the visitor their gift (such as a gift card or DVD)
The first step to building a profitable business is to select your niche.
What type of gifts would you like to offer your members? I recommend
selecting a niche that interests you, something you can become
passionate about. I also recommend selection products with a value of
between $10-$25.

Sample niches
Movie Rental - Members receive cash, for trying movie club & rental
sites like Columbia House® and NetFlix®.

Credit Cards - Members receive cash or other gifts for signing up for
various credit cards.

Gift Cards – Members receive gift cards for completing various offers
on your site.

Additional niche ideas to get started:

Cosmetics, music, books (audio and print), video games, consumer
electronics, credit cards, games, toys, online casinos, nutritional
supplements, flowers, theater, men and women's clothing, shoes,
perfume, health and beauty (bath products, skincare, condoms, etc...),
cigars, phone cards, cell phones, sporting goods, etc....
Register your domain
After you've chosen your niche, the next step is to register your
domain name. When brainstorming for domains, the most important
thing to keep in mind is branding. I strongly recommend a .com
2 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/
domain if possible. You want to make it catchy and memorable. Let the
visitor know what your offer, just by the domain name of your website.
A good tool I use for brainstorming is http://www.thesaurus.com .Just
type in a word that describes your site. You'll get a list of several other
words with the same definition!
7
When you're ready to register your domain, I recommend
GoDaddy.com, where you can register your domain for just $8.95 per
year!

Review for Chapter 1:

1. Choose gifts in the price range of $10-$25
2. Pick something you enjoy, and are excited about
3. Select your domain name

Chapter 2 - Building your Site

The next step is to design the html portion of your website. I
strongly recommend using a template.
The top template company I can personally recommend is
T emplateMonster.com .

TemplateMonster.com charges per template, anywhere from $12 &

up. Unique designs are available for purchase. However, these are
priced much higher, and unless you have the funds available, I don’t
recommend them as you can always customize your own template
later for much less.
Tools to design your website. You can use whatever programs you like,
but I have listed some of my favorites below for reference.

HTML Editors
Coffee Cup - Free to try, $39 to buy
NVU Web Authoring System – Free to use
DreamWeaver - Free to try, $399 to buy

You could also hire a designer to complete the html portion of your
website. If you choose to go that route, I recommend elance.com.
Registration is free, and once you are registered, just place your
project online. Within minutes you should have bids on your project.
As long as you select a provider who has been a member for at least 6
months, has a high feedback rating, and speaks & writes English well,
you should have no problem at all.

Graphics
I recommend dreamstime.com for stock photos, etc... They have a
GREAT selection, basically whatever you are looking for, they will have
it!
Site Design

When designing the html section of your website you'll want to include
the pages listed below. And remember, it's important to make sure
your website displays correctly in both Internet Explorer® and
FireFox®.

Index page
First page visitors are directed to when typing your domain name into
their browser address bar. This should include an overview of your
website and what you're offering. Below you'll see an example of a
good index page.

FAQ
A page for all commonly asked/anticipated questions.

Privacy Policy
Very important to have in place. As an owner of this eBook, you may
view the WinAnyGift.com privacy policy/terms of use to get an idea of
what is needed. However, please do not copy it word for word.

Contact
A contact page listing company contact information such as your email
addresse.
You will also design the following pages in html, and l a ter t here will be
code added by your programmer in order for your site to function
properly.

Offer Pages:
Above is a sample offer page.

You'll see the offer name (efax) and description. Below that is a sign
up form for the visitor to complete.
Once the visitor completes the signup form and clicks submit, they will
be taken to the final page. You'll also see a “Live Help” button near the
bottom. This is a program that allows me to interact with visitors
through an “instant message” type program.
I do recommend using this program, it's available at SiteChatter.com.
You'll want to create a new page like the one above for every offer on
your site. So if you have 5 offers on your site, you would make 5
pages similar to the one above.

Above is the page visitors are taken to after clicking submit on the
previous page. This is the visitors final step. They simply click the logo
and follow the instructions to receive their gift. You'll see that I have
the offer logo, description, and requirement listed on this final page.
You'll want to add everything you see to the two pages above,
EXCEPT the offer code itself, as that will be added after you've

signed up for the affiliate networks.
15
If I'm giving away a gift worth $20, I want members to earn me at
least $30-35 in commission.

Review for Chapter 2:

1. Use a template to make designing websites easier.
2. Create all necessary html pages.

Chapter 3 – The Affiliate Networks.

You are going to be "incentivizing" (offering something in return, a gift,
etc...) the offers placed on your website. You'll need to take care to
only list offers that the advertiser specifically states can be
"incentivized."
The best thing to do is to use affiliate networks whose vast majority of
offers can be incentivized. To place the offers on your website, you’ll
want to join as a “publisher” with each network. Make sure you at least
have your index page and any links on the index page up and working
before you apply to the networks.
I personally use and recommend the networks listed below.
1. CactusMedia.com - CactusMedia features many exclusive, high
paying offers.

2. Azoogle.com - The #1 rated affiliate company by 25,000

media experts. Payouts are net 20 for your first check, and net 15
after that.
Other networks include:
CPALead.com
IncentReward.com

IncentaClick (CX Digital)

OfferFusion
These networks are at times accepting new publishers, and at other
times they are not. You only need to be approved for a couple
networks, so don't worry about getting turned down by any particular
network.
After signing up for the affiliate networks it will take a few days to be
approved. If you haven't heard back from a network within 3-4
business days, contact them via email, let them know you have
submitted an application and are eager to get started. This should
speed the process up.

After being approved for the affiliate networks you'll want to login to
each network and become familiar with the publisher area, and the
offers available.

Review for Chapter 3:

5 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/

1. Sign up for each affiliate network.
2. After being approved login to your accounts and become familiar
with the navigation.

Chapter 4 – Adding Offers

The next step is to add the offers to your website. Now that you've
signed up and have been approved by your affiliate networks, you
need to login to your accounts and select the offers you would like to
place on your site.
For each offer you will receive an html code to place on your site.
Below are examples of this code from each network.

CactusMedia:

AzoogleAds:

Next, add a description to the offer, and you can also list the
requirement needed by the visitor to receive credit (such as taking the
free trial, making a purchase, etc..).

Below is a screen shot of an offer available on a site. Notice the offer

banner, the description, and the requirement are all listed.

Review for Chapter 4:

1. Login to each affiliate network and place your offer code on your
website.
2. Choose your offer layout. Use one page for all your offers, or break
them up into categories and/or multiple pages.
3. List description, requirement, and gift earned for each offer.

Chapter 5 – Hosting your Site

A web host is a company that provides server space for your website.
Your html files, php files, graphics, etc, will reside on the server.
I've been with http://www.bsdhosting.net for several years, and this
has worked great for me. The customer service is excellent, and the
hosting packages they are competitively priced.
I recommend choosing a Virtual Dedicated Solution (VDS)
(BSDhosting.net). This platform provides the power and flexibility to
handle complex hosting projects.

VDS hosting plans start at $29.95/month.

Of course, there are many web hosts available. If you currently have a
web host for other websites you operate and are happy with it, you
might want to stay with it. Just make sure the web host offers PHP and
MySQL.
Because of the complex coding and databases that will be used for

6 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/

your website, I do not recommend using a free hosting service.

Uploading your website

After your hosting is set up, you'll want to upload your website to your
server. I use a free program called FileZilla® for this.
FileZilla® is an FTP program for file upload and download to your
server. You can download your free copy at
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
Below is a FileZilla® screenshot:
You simply open the program and connect to your server using the
information supplied to you by your web host.

Navigate the left windows to locate your website files on your local
computer. Then drag and drop them into the appropriate folder on the
right side to upload them to your server. HTML and PHP files will go
into the “htdocs” folder, while all of your graphics will go into the
“images” folder.
Review for Chapter 5:
1. I recommend a Virtual Dedicated solution hosting plan.
2. If you're currently with a web host, check for PHP and MySQL
support.
3. I do not recommend using a free hosting service.
4. Use an FTP program such as FileZilla to upload your website.

Chapter 6 – Programming
After selecting a webhost for your site, the next step is to program
your website. Programming allows the website to fuction properly.
These functions include:
Signup Functions:
-------------------
o Functionality to take data input into a form and insert it into the
user promo database, including data validation (duplicates allowed)
o Functionality to redirect user after signup to account home or
regpath or where ever
Admin Functions:
-------------------
o Functions to gather and display all transactions and grouped stats
for referral sources.
o Functions to import various data files from other networks.
Misc Functions:
------------------
o Function to check whether a user has completed enough promo
offers
to trigger a payout
o Functions to send email to admins that indicate which users should
now be sent their gift for completing the required offers.
o Functions for tracking various landing pages and referral sources.

If you would like to get a quote for work from the same group of
programmers I use, you can send your project request over to me via
email by c licking here .
It is definitely not necessary to know all the details of programming
and it's okay if you're not sure how the programming works. Just let
your programmer know what you are wanting done, and any good
programmer should be able to take care of you.
You can use a programmer from rentacoder.com or elance.com if you
like. These programmers provide quality work and are excellent at
designing exactly what you want for your websites.
You may also direct your programmer to a site like GiftMonkey.com for
tips, ideas, etc... Just take care not to carbon copy anything. You could
say to your programmer, “Take a look at GiftMonkey, I want my site to
function in a similar fashion.” Also let your programmer know that you
will be tracking member accounts using a SID, or UID.
These are alphanumeric codes that you append to your affiliate links to
track offers completed.
Another option would be to use a script (such as FSRevolution), and
just have the script installed. This is a lot easier to do for most
everyone. The only downside is that it cannot be customized to your
liking as well as a custom coded site.

The screen shot above is the first screen you see after logging into the
admin area. From here you can also view the total users, the date, and
today's transactions.

The screen shot above shows where to upload each CSV file. When the
files are uploaded, member accounts are automatically credited for
offers completed. Just ignore the boxes labeled adteractive, etc..those
are for older affiliate networks. The boxes you will need created are
cactus media promo and azoogle promo and/or any other networks
you are using.

The screen shot above shows the sign up form for members.
All of the screen shots above are for informational purposes only, and
are meant to be used as a guide by your programmer. These are
intended to give you and your programmer information on what is
needed.

Modifying your affiliate links for proper tracking

After your programmer has set everything up, you'll need to modify
your affiliate links by adding an SID, or UID to the end of each URL.
Remember these are alphanumeric codes that you append to your
affiliate links to track offers completed.
Let's take a look at an example of unmodified affiliate links.

Now let's view the modified affiliate links with the SID or UID in place.
Modifications are in red.

CactusMedia:

The examples above are the way tracking works on some of my

various websites. Your programmer (or script) may vary the tracking
methods and/or link modifications, and as long as it functions properly,
that's okay!

Review for Chapter 6:

1. Use a programmer from rentacoder.com, elance.com, or a script
such as FSRevolution
2. Your programmer may view similar sites such as giftmonkey.com for
tips, ideas, etc... just take care not to carbon copy anything.
3. When programming is complete, modify your affiliate links for
proper tracking.

Chapter 7 – Autoresponder Systems

Setting up your email addresses
The next thing you need to do is setup your email addresses for
communication with your website visitors and members. I suggest
setting up an individual email address for each area: support,
customer service, etc...
Examples include:
support@yourdomain.com
If you're using BSDHosting.net, email addresses can be added to your
account by taking the following steps:
1. Visit http://www.yourdomain.com/webadmin and login with your
username and password.
2. Click on “Applications”, then “Email admin”, login with your
username/password.
3. Select “New Email Account”, fill in the information, and click “Add.”
4. Repeat steps 3-4 for each email address you would like to add
(support, customerservice, etc...)
Once all of your email addresses have been added, you can access
your email by visiting http://yourdomain.com/webmail/
33
Setting up your autoresponder
An autoresponder is an email program that sends an automatic
response to your subscribers. Autoresponders can be programmed to
send messages at a set time, for example once per week.
I use an autoresponder to send a “welcome” email to each member

9 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/

that joins my website. I also have several follow up emails that go out
to each member. These follow up emails contain current promotions,
new offers, and a tutorial for getting started. Your newsletter may also
be sent using an autoresponder.
I recommend setting up your autoresponder with at least 5 follow up
emails that are sent out every 3-4 days to new members. The first
email should be sent immediately upon sign up. The additional emails
should each stress a benefit, free gift, or special offer available at your
site.
Below are a few examples of follow up emails.
These should give you some good ideas on what to create for your
site.

The autoresponder system I use is called Aweber. I STRONGLY

suggest using Aweber, as they have a very good delivery rate, and top
notch customer service. You can setup broadcasts that will be sent to
your members at the date and time you choose. You can also send
html emails, text emails, or both!
Review for Chapter 7:
1. Setup email addresses for communication with members.
2. Setup autoresponder for automated messages to members.

Chapter 8 – Advertising
I always use paid advertising to bring traffic to my website. I've never
tried to optimize my site for the search engines, or anything other than
paid advertising. This does not mean other forms of advertising are not
acceptable, I just have never personally tried them.
I've read about others having great results with free advertising, but it
is a very slow process. For that reason I've decided to go the paid
advertising route. When using paid advertising I strongly recommend
not spending more than 20% of your available advertising funds on
one type of advertising until you have become familiar with it and
know your expected results.
When advertising the MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember is
TRACKING! Always track all of your advertisements. I track the new
members generated and revenue generated for each and every ad I
place. No exceptions!
A programmer can setup a tracking system for you that will track
everything you wish. Just let them know what you want done, and
they should be able to do it. I recommend using the same programmer
that developed your site if at all possible, as they will be familiar with
your site.

Another option is to use a web based tracking system such as

http://www.hypertracker.com (Implix).
When advertising I'm looking to break even fairly quickly (3-6 weeks),
and then everything earned after that is pure profit.
The main types of advertising I use and recommend are as
10 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/
follows:
1. Pay per click – (PPC) through Google®
With PPC my main goal is to convert visitors into members and/or
signups by completing a short sign up form. I'm happy with a
conversion ratio of 1:5. Meaning that for every 5 visitors, 1 will
become a member. Depending on your cost per click (CPC), your
acceptable ratio may be different. In general, if I can generate a
new member for under $1.00, I consider that to be well worth the
advertising cost.
You can get started with Google Adwords by visiting
https://adwords.google.com
Google® has some great resources for those just getting started
with PPC advertising.
Google Adwords Help Center
https://adwords.google.com/support/
39
You may also want to try out the smaller search engine PPC
programs. A great resource for these smaller search engines is
http://www.payperclicksearchengines.com/.
2. Affiliate Networks – You can place an offer for your website on
an affiliate network. For example, you could place an offer that pays
out $.75 for every visitor that joins your website. You can place your
offer on many affiliate networks including OfferFusion, CactusMedia,
Adteractive, and more. Some networks have no requirements, while
offers specify you must spend a certain amount on advertising each
month.
3. Text links and banner ads via targeted sites – I often place
text links and banner ads on sites that have the same
demographics, or sites with visitors who are likely to be interested in
what I have to offer. For example, if my site is offering free movies,
I would want to advertise on entertainment sites. If my site is giving
away toys, I would want to advertise on websites that mothers are
likely to visit (because mothers are often the ones toy shopping!). If
you are looking for free or cheap banners that can be made within
minutes, try http://www.quickbanner.com/. They have many
templates to choose from. Simply create your banner with their
online tools, and you are finished!
40
Use “pay for results” advertising
I try to always use advertising that has some sort of “pay for results”
method behind it as often as possible. What this means is that I prefer
to use advertising such as CPA (cost-per-acquisition). For example, I'll
run ads where I payout for each newly registered member. These type
of ads are lower risk than traditional advertising, because I know what
I'm getting in return. If I place a banner ad on a site that's good for a
one month run, I don't know if I'll get 0 or 100 orders without testing
it first.
Landing Page
11 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/
It's very important to make sure your landing page is converting at an
acceptable percentage when using paid advertising. For myself, that
means I want anywhere from 20-40% of visitors to join my website.
Your landing page should include at a minimum the following:
1. Short description of what you offer.
2. The benefits joining your website offers.
3. A sign up form directly on the landing page.
41
Here's an example landing page:
Just click here.
Notice that the sign up form is directly on the landing page. The less
steps visitors have to go through, the more likely they are to join your
site.
Review for Chapter 8:
1. You have several options available: PPC, affiliate networks, and text
link and banner advertisements.
2. 20% or LESS of available funds towards one type of advertising until
you've tested and tracked your results.
3. Tracking! ALWAYS track your results.
4. Optimize your landing page, keep the sign up form directly on the
landing page.
42
Chapter 9 – Running the Business
To effectively run your business, I recommend completing the
following tasks as scheduled.
1. Answer member emails (daily basis)
2. Send a newsletter to your members (2-4x per month)
3. Ship gifts (weekly basis)
4. Update your website with new offers/gifts (weekly basis)
4. Download reports from affiliate networks (2-3x per week)
Answering member emails: It's important to respond to emails
quickly. The faster a question is answered, the sooner that member
can get back at your site, earning dollars for you!
Common emails I receive are from members who have lost their
password and from members who have a specific question regarding
an offer. Examples of these questions are as follows: How long does
the offer take to credit? & What are the requirements for an offer?
43
Send a newsletter to your members: A newsletter gives you a way
to communicate to your members, letting them know about updates,
new promotions, etc... It also reminds those members who may have
forgotten about your site and gives them the opportunity to come
back.
Ship gifts: I ship gifts out several times per week. If your schedule
does not permit several shipments each week, once per week should
be sufficient. Remember, a member who receives their gift in 3-4
business days is much more likely to return to your site (and earn
more $$$ for you), than a member who receives their gift in 3-4
12 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/
weeks. Depending on the free gifts your offering, you may be able to
ship many orders online through stores such as Amazon.com®.
Update your website with new offers/gifts: It's important to
browse the affiliate networks and make sure your running the offers
that payout the highest commission. One network might have an offer
from NetFlix® at a payout of $25, while another network might have
the same offer for $30.
You'll also want to add any new offers to your site and make sure you
have removed any offers that have expired. Always keep your offers
updated!
44
Download reports from affiliate networks: In order for your
members to receive credit for the offers they have completed, you'll
need to download the reports in CSV format and upload them to your
server. Once uploaded to your server, you'll receive an email that lists
all the gifts ordered, where you need to ship them, etc...
You'll want to do this several times each week. The faster members
receive their gifts, the more likely they are to go on and complete
additional offers.
CSV reports are easily downloaded by logging into each affiliate
network. Following are step-by-step instructions for downloading the
reports from each network.
CactusMedia – Log in, make sure “all offers is selected in the drop
down box, select your sub account and date range, then click on “view
report. Next click on “Click here to view detailed transaction reports”.
Select the email address you would like the report sent to, and click
“submit”. Check your email for the files and save the file to the folder
of your choice.
Azoogle – Once logged in select “Statistics”, “Excel CSV Report”.
Select all offers, your date range, make sure “only leads” is checked,
then click “Get”. Save the file to the folder of your choice and unzip it.
45
Uploading Files: If using Filezilla login to your server and go to the
htdocs folder. Make sure “transfer type” is set to “ASCII” and transfer
over the CSV files from your computer, into the htdocs folder on your
web server. You'll then login to your website admin (
http://www.yourdomain.com/admin ) and upload the CSV files into
each appropriate box.
Once you've successfully built up your website and revenue, you may
wish to start another site giving away free gifts of another type. For
example, if your first website gives away cd players and other
electronics, you might want to start a second site giving away video
games.
Videos:
I've included a set of 17 video clips with this report. These videos deal
with various aspects of starting a website.
You can download these videos at the link below:
17-part video series
13 Can people find you on Google? Visit: | http://nowebsite-nobusiness.com/
The videos do not show step by step instructions using all of the same
companies I personally use, but they are a very good resource for
beginners.
To view each video just unzip it, and click on the html file in each
folder. The video will then open up in your internet browser.
46
If you need any help viewing the videos, just email me.
You now have access to all the information I use on a daily basis to run
this business. Now get out there and TAKE ACTION!
Sincerely,
