Government Letter.No.30790/S2/2016-6, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (S) Department,dated.31.10.2016 Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette: NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Basic Service (Section 19 in Volume Ill of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016). 2 (i). The amendment (1)(i) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21® September 1999. (i) The amendments (1)(i) and (2) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15" September 2016. AMENDMENTS In the said Special Rules,- (1) In tule 3A,- (i) for the expression “to any of the posts”, the expression “to all the posts in which the cadre strength is more than one under the jurisdiction of each appointing authority’ shall be substituted; P.T.O2 {ii) for the expression “The rule of reservation of appointments (General Rule 22)", the expression “The principle of reservation of appointments as provided in section 27 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants(Conditions of | Service)Act,2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016) shall be substituted ; (2) in rule 10, in sub - rules (a) and (b), for the expression “General Rule 31”, the expression * section 37 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016( Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016) ” shall be substituted.
