Job Description:

Position Summary
The role of a National Product Manager for On-net India Access entails developing and managing
India Access Service offering. Last mile access facilitates network services to reach the end
customers. Developing access service involves interfacing with key cross-functional stakeholders to
identify and consolidate business reach and service requirements. Further, it requires formation and
execution of Access Strategy within business, technological, reach and cost requirements.

The National Product Manager is responsible for delivering against key strategic and functional goals
that impact key business imperatives. The role would throw immense opportunities to drive and
facilitate critical business decisions, solve problems, interact with the top management and industry
leaders.

Major Activities:
 Basis business requirements, assess technology options available and plan for TCL access
services
 Launch new access services along with end-to-end system and process development
 Analyze and recommend investments for capacity growth and sustenance of access services
 Responsible for identifying and driving key cost optimization and transformation initiatives
 Analyze data to figure business trends – required business reach, service parameters,
technology requirements, competition, etc. Based on business requirements and trends
recommend actionable future plan
 Keep a tab on the regulatory landscape and recommend position of TCL
 Drive cross-functional business initiatives, especially with Engineering and Operations
functions

Essential Qualifications:
 Full-time MBAs
 Engineering background preferred

Technical
 Inclination to follow and understand technology evolution, regulatory framework and
competition
 Prior experience in Telecom preferred

Functional:
 The candidate must have strong analytical skills
 Must have sound business fundamentals to understand cost, ROI and profitability basics
 Business acumen to recommend tactical and strategic investment decisions
 Ability to lead discussions with the Senior Management

Behavioural:
 Interpersonal skills would be required to drive cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
 The candidate must have keen problem-solving attitude and aptitude
 He/she must be able to deal with ambiguity

Work Experience:
Full time MBA with 6 - 9 years of experience in Telecom/IT preferred
Sr. Product Management Specialist - Product Management

Key Objective/Purpose of the Job:

requirements.

Level Descriptor:

The Product Manager is responsible for delivering against key strategic and functional goals across TCL’s
network services portfolio. These imperatives impact organizational business imperatives, including facilitating
top line growth, gaining market share and achieving profitable business growth. The role would throw immense
opportunities to drive critical cross-organizational business decisions, solve problems and interact with the top
management and industry leaders.

Purpose - Broad objective of the role

Key Responsibilities of the job:

 Techno-commercial decisions on customer deals, responsible for cross-functional co-ordination from


pre-sales upto business realization
 Continuously track and analyze market dynamics, competition, pricing and technology developments;
Feedback experience from market experience into business planning and strategy
 Analyze customer-success based business cases and opportunities for investments
 Work with key stakeholders across the organization to identify areas of improvement in order to cash-in
and initiate Sales process improvements for faster turnaround time, in the interest of customer stickiness
and profitable business growth; Institutionalize processes for effective analysis of opportunities and
bidding of deals
 Support rollout effective GTM plans, sales Initiatives to support leadership in Network Services Product
category, drive launch of new promotions for higher network fill factors and monetization
 Direct feedback of business commitment into the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
 To maintain documentation of Access product including price books, SLA, Service documents etc.
