Comedy Drama
-is a literary genre and a type of dramatic work that
is amusing and satirical in its tone, mostly having a cheerful ending.
1.. The group must have 5-10 participants only.
2. The drama must be delivered in a humorous way
in not more than 10 minutes to perform including their preparations. A 2 points deduction will
be given for every 5 minutes that will excess.
3. The contestants are PROHIBITED to use vulgar words, acts expressions and the like within
presentation.
Criteria for judging: CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY – 20%
HUMOR AND AUDIENCE IMPACT– 40%
DELIVERY AND BODY GESTURES – 20 %
COSTUME AND PROPS – 20 %

MTV Spoof
-a television programme that seems to be about a serious matter
but is actually a joke.
1. Performance is from 3-7 minutes, overtime and undertime is a 1 point deduction per minute.
2. Only lip-synchronization is allowed for the impersonators.
3. The group must have 5-10 participants only.
Criteria for judging: ENTERTAINMENT FACTOR – 40%
IMPERSONATION – 25%
MASTERY – 20%
COSTUME – 15%

HIP HOP
-is a street style dance originating from the Bronx in New York
City in the 1970s. Constantly evolving, it is a free, funky and soulful
expression of movement used by artists..
1. All crews should have 5-10 members only.
2. The duration of the dance should be a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes.
3 Any kind of hip hop dance is allowed (ex: locking, popping, etc.) or any kind of dance of hip
hop.
4. No vulgarity, obscenity and explicit contents are allowed.
5. The competition music must not contain inappropriate or offensive language.
Criteria for judging: PERFORMANCE – 40%
CHOREOGRAPHY AND ORIGINALITY – 30%
THEME AND MUSIC – 20%
COSTUME AND AUDIENCE IMPACT – 10%

Novelty Song
-A novelty song is a comical or nonsensical song, performed
principally for its comical effect.

1. The performance should be 10 minutes.

2. Time allowed for putting up simple scenery and props must not last longer than 2 minutes.
3. Each group must have 5-10 members only.
4. Each group is responsible for removing scenery and props after the performance.
Criteria for judging: ORIGINALITY – 15 %
DRAMATIC TECHNIQUES – 20%
DELIVERY – 30%
EXPRESSIVE ASPECTS – 20%
CHARACTERIZATION – 10%
COSTUME – 5 %

SOLO AND DUET
-is the act of producing musical sounds with the voice, and
augments regular speech by the use of both tonality and rhythm.

1.The piece must be minus-1 only.

2. The song should be 1960’s-1950’s
3. Each year level should have two (2) representatives for song solo and two (2) pairs for duet.
4. Time allotted for each performance is 2-3 minutes.
5. Contestants must memorize the song they will performing.
Criteria for judging: VOCAL EXPRESSION – 35%
VOICE QUALITY – 30%
STAGE PRESENCE – 20%
AUDIENCE IMPACT– 15%
