Hydro Meteorological Hazards Worldwide

Although tropical cyclones can occur in many parts of the world, about 75% of all tropical cyclones form in the
Northern Hemisphere. The western North Pacific Ocean has the greatest number of storms per year. There are also
areas that are not affected by tropical cyclones, such as the South Atlantic where the ocean is too cool.

The following is a listing of specific areas of the world which are affected by tropical cyclones:

1) India as Tropical Cyclone

Six million people could be affected by hurricane-strength Tropical Cyclone Vayu, which is barreling toward northwest
India and will skirt the coastline of Gujarat beginning Thursday morning.Almost 300,000 people are set to be evacuated to
700 shelter homes, a spokesperson for India's Home Ministry said Wednesday. Schools and colleges in the area are closed
until Friday, officials said. With winds of 170 kph (100 mph), Tropical Cyclone Vayu could become the strongest cyclone to
strike northwestern India in decades. It comes a month after powerful Tropical Cyclone Fani slammed into India's northeastern
coast. Vayu passed about 300 kilometers (185 miles) west of Mumbai on Wednesday, moving north toward the Gujarat
coastline.

2) Spring Winter Storm Snow In Colorado

May 21, 2019, along Tenmile Creek in Frisco, Colo. Nearby Breckenridge Ski Resort reported 9 inches of snow
overnight. A surprisingly strong, late-spring snowstorm dumped more than a foot of snow around Colorado Springs on
Tuesday and up to 6 inches in the Denver metro area, which broke a 128-year record for the lowest high-temperature for the
date at 39 degrees. The snow was triggered by the same big storm that brought severe weather to the Plains. The wintry
mess snarled roads and forced some school closings, including the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The
wintry onslaught was particularly hard on trees that buckled and broke under the weight of wet snow landing on
freshly sprouted leaves.

3) Avalanche in Pakistan
 June 17, 2019 ISLAMABAD (AP) — An Italian diplomat and two mountaineering workers in Pakistan said on Monday
that an avalanche had stranded a group of four Italian and three Pakistani climbers on a mountain in the country’s north.

These elements help us to determine how these outcomes are prioritized and are given special treatment over
the course of time. These elements prove us that in order to be successful we must look into its important benefits so that
people would flock unto the products or goods. Having these elements in a product is a must so we know what to improve
and what to develop even though these are characterized and has many features, what’s important is we can create an
outcome that would fit its purpose as a whole.
