Child: Olivia Age: Born on the 2nd of June 2014 (5 Family information

Significant Family Information

Olivia is a Chinese born Australian girl with both parents from China. She often speaks English at home and in school and
attends the setting from Tuesday to Thursday. Her parent’s expectation for her is to improve on her spoken language as
well as meetings the standards for graduating students before going to primary school next year.

Significant Information from Analysis of Observations

Olivia was observed to be playing with the group of friends include child Lola, child M, child A and child K (girls are all
around 5 years old). This is when they are doing drawing and craftwork, group time activity, self initiated pretend play
and dramatic play. She shares the similar interest with her friend Lola and calls her the best friend. In her observations,
she is attracted to animal (bird) and plants (flowers) when doing outdoor activity and initiate pretend play in a secret
outdoor area with her group of girls. Olivia is also interested in storytelling and shows her outgoing personality with
everyone.
