i. Ans: Yijie Huang
b. Tell us about yourself. Where are you from? What is one of your hobbies? Is there
anything else you would like to share?
i. Ans: I’m from Fort Lauderdale. I love to play basketball. I was born in
China but I moved to the United States when I was 4; this summer I went
back to China for the first time in 14 years.
c. What would you like to learn from this course?
i. Ans: I would like to learn how to think like an engineer, and truly develop
my problem-solving skills.
d. What would you like to learn from courses in the EECS department before you
graduate
i. Ans: I would like to learn how to create/design my own CPU.
e. What is a technology that you would like to see invented or a problem that you
would like to have solved in the next twenty years?
i. Ans: I would like to see advancements in quantum computing, and see
more applications with its usefulness
f. Tell us about your academic background. What math and physics courses have
you taken?
i. Ans: I’ve taken math all the way up to Multivariable Calculus. And I’ve
taken both Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism at an AP Level.
g. What platform do you use (Mac/Linux/Windows)?
i. Ans: Mac.

the code.
g. Let us say you only were able to get half-way through a homework problem
during the first submission. When self-grading you would receive 5/10 on a
problem, but you realize how to complete your solution and decide to resubmit.
After resubmission what is your new score?
i. Ans: 8 points.

i. Ans: None. Miss 1 Lab, 30/32. Miss 2 or 3, 16/32. Miss 4 or more, Fail the
