Project Details

BE Project:
Title: Manufacturing of vertical based electrode structure in ultrcapacitors using different binder
materials for various connections.
Objective: The objective of project was to manufacture the ultracapacitor with vertical alignmwent and to
verify the best binder material which enhances the key parameter of ultracapacitors and also to verify that
it follows normal capacitor rules with the best electrode material.
M. Tech Projects:
1. Title: Comparative study of Horizontal and Vertical electrode structure in Supercapacitors.
Objective: The objective of project was to know effect of capacitance and equivalent series resistance of
supercapacitors due to the alignment of electrodes enabling researchers to design the supercapacitors
which can hold more charge so that it can be used as primary energy storage device.
2 Title: Study of supercapacitors with the different compositions.
Objective: The objective of this project was to know the effect on key parameters of supercapacitors by
changing the composition and to identify which composition is giving best results to check the
commercial viability.
3 Title: Study of PVDF based electrode structure in supercapacitors.
Objective: The objective of this project was to know the effect on key parameters of EDLC and pseudo
capacitors by using PVDF as binder material and to identify best composition as well as the material for
making of supercapacitors.
4.Title: Study of carbon nonmaterial’s and effect of its Ball milling on the key parameters of
supercapacitors.
Objective: Objective of the project was to make supercapactors of different combinations with variation
in time for ball milling and its effect on capacitance and ESR of supercapacitors.
