Happiness & Well Being


Assignment 1
In continuation to Module 1 - Understanding true potential and removing our limiting beliefs and
translating our fears into our excitements, the following are a few tasks for each to attempt.

Instructions

• Do not exceed the space provided for each response.


• Attempt all the questions
• Do not use Google to respond as the responses need to be from our own thought process

Task 1 - How would you describe yourself?

I a person who believes in “dedication can make you achieve anything you want in life”. And I have been
through a tough journey starting from losing my parents in an early stage to going to Poland for student ex-
change and perusing my graduation because of my own hard work and dedication. In addition, I would like
to add that I get internal satisfaction by clicking photographs, as photography is my passion. I love to help
people who are in need of and that I am capable of. Moreover, if I say the negative side- I am little bit short
tempered.

Task 2 - What are your Current strengths?

1. Quick decision making in pressure situations.


2. Achieving work from people by directly/indirectly influencing them.
3. I can make people happy with my sense of humor and helpfulness.
4. Photography as a skill.

Task 3 - Happiness is a CHOICE? Is it an over statement or understatement? Give your view points.

Yes, happiness is a choice. It is an understatement because it is all in the head. If someone is able to control
his /her emotions in certain situation, he/she can overcome difficult or sad situations quickly. If someone
fails. For example in am exam. Either he can be sad that he failed and he is a looser. Or he can motivate him-
self that he gave his best and he will work even harder next time to pass. And be happy that at least he tried.
So I feel it is a choice.

Task 4 - After going through a self discovery, you are now more aware about your potentials, your
limiting beliefs and your fears.
Are you ready to take charge and complete responsibility of your self? How?

Yes, I am ready to take charge and complete responsibility. I will do that by


1. Gaining more knowledge about the responcibility.
2. Brainstorming what all options I have to complete the task.
3. Ask others help if necessary for advice.
4. Choosing the best option for me by keeping the future consequences into consideration.

After all this, according to the outcome I will work even harder to get better results in the future.

Task 5 - What strengths and beliefs you need to build and replace your limiting beliefs with? Will it
increase your well being and your happiness quotient? Will you be able to look at issues more objec-
tively? Note your responses.

Limitations like-
1. Over stress to achieve the targeted goal.
2. Short temperedness.
3. Sometimes low on moral if the process is not smooth.
4. Sometimes I forget about the corporate and personal life differences and add personal emotions into
corporate life, which is sometimes harmful.
I work on all of these by being more aware of the situation. E.g.- for short temperedness I do meditation and
yoga. For low morale, I am learning how to self-motivate.

Yes, defiantly if I get rid of all my limitation it is going to make me stronger and which will ultimately make
me happier and will increase my HQ. Moreover, yes I will be able to look issues more objectively.
