Example

1. What do you value in life?

I value my family, learning, living a life that’s full and varied. I do not care about climbing
the corporate ladder or being a millionaire but I want to live comfortably and use learning,
studying and research to help the world.

2. What are your weaknesses?

I’m a loner. I have problems working with other people and dealing with office
environments in general. Weak presentation skills in general, as well. I’m also not a flexible
person.

3. What are your strengths?

I’m organized, hard-working and motivated. I have high resistance to stress and in general
am a good problem-solver.

4. What’s your dream job?

My dream job is to learn, to study and research every single day. In that sense, I would
love to be a professor/researcher at university.

5. What jobs would you hate having?

I wouldn’t like to be a lawyer or anything that didn’t allow me to pursue other side-
projects (judge).

6. What jobs wouldn’t you mind having before achieving the dream job?
I wouldn’t mind working as a consultant at a company or bank. I wouldn’t also mind
having a governmental job that was mainly back-office.

7. What to do you need to do to get to those in-between jobs?

Improving my CV with some training and start applying to those jobs ASAP. Some of
them value a Master’s degree but that’s fortunately on the way. Probably some language
learning (German and French) would also be beneficial.

8. How does that job connect to your dream job? How can you get there?
Getting some experience in the Law field, despite not being a lawyer, would definitely
open new horizons if I want to become a professor. It’s also a good factor to consider when
applying for a PhD.
In order to be a professor, I need to apply for a PhD so getting a job that improves my CV
and gives me a better chance to be accepted would be wonderful. In that sense, doing my
PhD while I’m working at that type of job (even if that means postponing it) would give me
the financial stability to pay for tuition while also allowing me to gain experience. After
finishing my PhD I could start applying for a position as a professor at my local university.
