is formed by adding –er to one
syllable adjective.)

 More + delicious = More Delicious
Now, for the superlative form?
(The Superlative Form of adjective is
formed by adding –est to one
syllable adjective)
Ex.
 Long + est = Longest
 Most + delicious = Most delicious

in using comparative and superlative
adjectives.
1. Do not use both more and er or
most and est in one word

Not: But:
More harder harder

Most softest softest
Most colorfulest! Most colorful
2. The Comparative form of adjectives
is always followed by than.

Ex.
 Andrew is taller than Isaac.
 Ken is more intelligent than Tina.

3. The superlative form of adjective


are always preceeded by the.
Ex.
 Mrs. Cruz is the most beautiful
woman in the party.
 My mom is the kindest person I
know.

How can we use the comparative form?
It can be used by adding -er
