LCD Controller Board Using Tips

1. How to know if this controller works with my panel?

First, you need to know your panel model on the backside

For example, the testing panel we have is HV101HD1-1E1

Check in this website: www.panelook.com you will see as below:
Panel resolution is 1366x768, signal type is 1ch 8bit 40pins lvds cable and the pin pitch is 0.5mm, panel input voltage is
3.3V, so you need to jump the cap to 3.3V, and the backlight is embedded, it means you don’t need to buy a inverter.

Above all, we know we need firmware 1366x768 SI8L 3.3v firmware. Searching “1366x768” in the folder, If you didn’t find
your panel model, you can try anyone 1366x768 SI8L firmware, if it doesn’t work, try another one.
2. How to install the firmware (ONLY .bin file, not rar or tar zip file, if it is a zip file, unzip it, you will get .bin file)
1.Put only 1 firmware "LAMV56R.bin" in a empty U-disk(FAT32) ,then insert the U-disk to the board.
2.After turn on the power(DC 12V 4A) ,the light on the 7key button will be Red then flash red and blue.after about 1
minute, the light stop flashing and turn blue, it means upgrade has finished.(Note that write programs do not power
outages, crashing won't be able to use)

How to into Factory setting?

Press "Menu" button then press"1 1 4 7", some controller board is “input 2580”
USB slot can be used for updating software and playing multimedia, such as Movie, MP3 and JPEG, Text.
3. How to change the OSD Language

If you installed the firmware and power on, found the language is Chinese, you can press” menu” then press “right” to the
rightmost side option

Press “Down” then press ”right” to change the language to what you need, like “English” v56 doesn’t support Russian.
Press menu, you will find it turns to be English.
4. How to jump the screen voltage jumper cap

After you installed the firmware, if your screen is white, it maybe your screen voltage is incorrect, you need to jump the
screen cap to the correct place, the factory default to 5v, but the screen with 3.3v 5v 12v, 3 kinds of screen input voltage,
you need to know your screen before you install the controller board, you can check here: www.panelook.com

For example this screen is 1366x768 SI8L with 3.3v screen voltage input, but you jumper on 5v and appear white scree, you
just need to jump the cap to 3.3v
Then press power the screen display will be ok
5. How to set power on logo

You need a .jpg file size less than 100K, and same resolution as your lcd panel resolution, then copy it into your
u-disk(FAT32), and insert it to the controller board, power on. Press “input” on the remote.

Choose “Media” into USB2.0

Choose “PHOTO”

For example, this panel is 1366x768 SI8L, so the photo resolution must be 1366x768, size less than 100KB
Press “ Right” button to the right side, you will find “Capture” , press “ok” to save the logo

Power on again, the boot screen appears.

6. How to mirror display

Press “MENU 1147”into factory setting-GENERAL SETTING.

Press” Right” Button to change the Off/On

Mirror Enable ON

Upside down.
7. How to quite the burn mode

If your screen appears like this photo, the 4 colors show in circuit, don’t worry you are in burn mode.

Press “power” button to quite the burn mode. Then power on again, the display returns to normal.
If you don’t have 7key button, you can make “K0” and “GND” short-circuit

Power on again.
8. If the display is very poor like this photo, how to adjust

Very poor display

Press”menu 1147” into “factory setting”-General setting”

Press ”right” button on the remote to change the “LVDS MAP” value 0-16, until the display is ok

Now the display is ok.
