 REFLECTION FOR SECOND QUARTER

It's really hard thinking about numbers inside your head and in also
solving it in papers. Achieving the objectives of second quarter in math is a
kind of best feeling. After a lot of numbers and solutions and another topic
about quadratics, then saying in yourself that " I survived", but to be
honest, it's not that easy. Every minutes and seconds in math class is very
important, just like you have to think about what factors or formulas will
you use. So this are the moments and topics I haved survived or learned in
second quarter math.
I'm surprised when Ma'am Caragay said that this coming second
quarter will be quadratix again and now it's about quadratic functions. I
thought myself that I will do better than the other period but as I said
earlier it's not that easy. After we tacled about the functions, Ma'am teach
us about the types of graphs and the opening of it, vertex, axis of symmetry,
minimum and maximum point, domain and range, I also thought that
domain and range wouldn't be complicated for me because we have passed
by that on our 8th grade but it's not. We also learned about writing to
general form into vertex form and vice versa. Then after few discussions, the
reporting has begun and our group is chosen to report first abt our topic on
shifting graphs. After our report, the next day, the other reporters
proceeded on the next topic about shifting of the graphs. Then, we also
learned about the quadratic inequalities and the definition of it which has
one variable and two variables. Lastly, Ma'am teach us about variations and
the kinds and the solutions of it.
Second quarter may be hard and really challenging for everyone,
especially me, I've been struggling abt the quadratic inequalities in this past
few weeks because it is really a tough lesson for me. Everyday I pray to God
that He guide me to another lesson in math and enlighten me for every
challenging topics and He gave that to me. I survived it, I may not say that
my performance is not really good but as long as I give my whole best it is
always better, and I'm hoping for more improvements this coming quarter.
