SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE


A. USAGE
The Simple Present Tense can be used to refer to actions which occur at
regular intervals, also used in stating general truths. In addition, the Simple
Present Tense can be used when referring to printed material, and when
describing events portrayed in a book, film, or other work of art. (Simple Present
Tense dapat digunakan untuk merujuk pada tindakan yang terjadi secara
berkala, juga digunakan dalam menyatakan kebenaran umum. Selain itu, Simple
Present Tense dapat digunakan ketika merujuk pada materi cetak, dan ketika
menggambarkan peristiwa yang digambarkan dalam buku, film, atau karya seni

A. USAGE
The Present Continous Tense is usually used to express continuing, ongoing
actions which are taking place at the moment. (Present Continuous Tense
biasanya digunakan untuk mengekspresikan tindakan berkelanjutan dan
berkelanjutan yang sedang berlangsung saat ini).

III. PRESENT PERFECT TENSE


A. USAGE
The Present Perfect Tense is used to describe action or situation that started
in the past and continues in the present, action performed during a period that
has not yet finished, repeated action in an unspecified period between the past
and now,action that were completed in the very recent past, expressed by 'just',
and when the precise time of the action is not important or not known. (Present
Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menggambarkan tindakan atau situasi yang
dimulai di masa lalu dan berlanjut di masa sekarang, tindakan yang dilakukan
selama periode yang belum selesai, tindakan berulang dalam periode yang tidak
ditentukan antara masa lalu dan sekarang, tindakan yang diselesaikan pada masa
lalu yang sangat baru, diungkapkan oleh “just”, dan ketika waktu yang tepat
dari tindakan tidak penting atau tidak diketahui).

A. USAGE
The Present Perfect Continuous Tense is used to talk about a continuous,
but not necessarily finished action or situation. (Present Perfect Continuous
Tense digunakan untuk membicarakan tindakan atau situasi yang
berkesinambungan, tetapi belum tentu selesai).
B. TIME SIGNAL
- Ever since = Sejak saat itu
- So far = Sampai saat ini
- Recently = Baru – baru ini

A. USAGE
The Simple Past Tense is used to talk about a complete action or state
that was in the past. For regular verbs, we make this tense by adding “ed” to the
end of the verb. (Simple Past Tense digunakan untuk membicarakan tindakan
atau keadaan lengkap yang ada di masa lalu. Untuk kata kerja reguler, kita
dengan menambahkan “ed” ke akhir kata kerja).

VI. PAST CONTINOUS TENSE


A. USAGE
Past Continuous Tense is used to express an action that was happening
in the past. It expresses a continued or ongoing action that may or may not be
completed in the past. Past Continuous Tense is also called past progressive
tense. Past Continuous Tense is made up of two main parts auxiliary verb
was/were and base form+ ing. (Past Continuous Tense digunakan untuk
mengekspresikan suatu tindakan yang terjadi di masa lalu. Ini mengungkapkan
tindakan berkelanjutan atau berkelanjutan yang mungkin atau mungkin tidak
diselesaikan di masa lalu. Past Continuous Tense juga disebut past progressive
tense. Past Continuous Tense terdiri dari dua bagian kata kerja bantu utama dan
bentuk dasar).

VII. PAST PERFECT TENSE
A. USAGE
The Past Perfect is used when two events happened in the past, with one
past action having occurred even before the other past action. To form the Past
Perfect, use “had” and the past participle of a verb in one part of the sentence.
Often, the regular past tense is used in the other part of the sentence. (The Past
Perfect digunakan ketika dua peristiwa terjadi di masa lalu, dengan satu
tindakan di masa lalu telah terjadi bahkan sebelum tindakan di masa lalu
lainnya. Untuk membentuk Past Perfect, gunakan “had” dan past participle dari
kata kerja di salah satu bagian kalimat. Seringkali, past past tense digunakan di
bagian lain kalimat).

The Simple Future tense is a verb tense that is used to refer to the
future. This tense is commonly formed with the use of “will” and “shall” for an
activity that takes place in the future. (Simple Future tense adalah kata kerja
yang digunakan untuk merujuk ke masa depan. Bentuk ini biasanya dibentuk
dengan menggunakan “will” dan “shall” untuk kegiatan yang terjadi di masa
depan).

A. USAGE
Future continuous tense or future progressive tense is a form of verb used to
express an action that will be happening at a certain time in the future. The
action had begun but was not finished at the time.( Future continuous tense
atau future progressive tense adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk
menyatakan aksi yang akan sedang terjadi pada waktu tertentu di masa depan.
Aksi tersebut telah dimulai tapi belum selesai pada saat itu.)
