Smart Electricity metering systems measure energy consumption, monitor its quality and

communicate this information from meter to concentrator or cloud, so that utilities can better
manage the use of energy by means of load management.

Our smart electricity meters are designed for much more than gathering data for consumption
billing – they are the powerful engines behind the intelligent grid. Our electric meters offer all the
functionality that you can expect from a smart meter – including your choice of communication
technology, be it RF mesh or PLC. The range of choices includes LoRA, NB-IoT. The accuracy
of our meters is unrivalled, ensuring reliable consumption billing and satisfied end-users.

Single phase meter

Intelligent and high-performance single phase electricity meter for household use.
Our single phase electricity meter for use in households is a high-precision smart meter, offering
long-term stability and reliability. Comes in several variants to fit every need. It can be configured
to fit your network infrastructure, whether you have specific demands for encryption standards,
data collection protocols, remote disconnect, the chosen communication technology or STS
prepayment solutions.

Three phase meter

for households and industry.

Our three phase electricity meter is optimized for smart metering systems and offer multiple
features like Voltage quality measurement, logging of events and real-time load profile generation
for all four quadrants are standard features, and in addition, the meter supports a wide range of
communication types.
3 phase meter comes in many shapes and variants. Whether you need a meter with or without
breaker, a DIN-rail variant or normal type.

Generic Features Single and 3 Phase:

4-quadrant metering
Active positive and active negative as well as reactive positive and negative energy.
Voltage quality
Voltage, current and power per phase. Time stamp on power failures on one or more phases.
Registration in configurable levels - overvoltage and under voltages. Detection of sags and
swells, THD and supply voltage unbalance
Disconnection
Smart disconnect enables on-demand disconnect of consumers as well as handling of load
limitation functionality
Real-time clock (RTC)
Timestamping of measurements and events provided by a real-time clock.
Magnetic immunity
The meter is immune to external magnetic influences.
Tamper
Detection and registration of attempts to manipulate the meter installation
Communication technology via modules
Radio (optional integrated radio communication), GSM, GPRS, M-Bus and RS-485. Modules
can be fitted from factory and retrofitted.
Smart metering-based prepayment
Prepayment function possible. The integrated breaker disconnects the supply when the acquired
kWh are used.
Standard communication protocols
Integrated DLMS/COSEM and IEC 62056-21 protocols
Encryption
AES 128 encryption securing the meter data transmission.
Smart Home enabled
The meter is smart home enabled and when connected to a network infrastructure, it wirelessly
transmits real-time consumption data, text messages, alerts and price information to an in-house
display

STS prepayment meter

Intelligent revenue protection with smart prepaid electricity meters based on the global STS
standard
The STS prepayment solution is all about securing the utility’s income. It keeps track of the
consumer’s credit balance and ensures that no power consumption can occur without having
been paid for in advance.
Based on the globally recognized STS standard, the solution securely handles the process of
adding credit to the balance and ensures proper validation, whether STS tokens are added onsite
by the consumer via the keypad for the prepaid electric meter or remotely by the utility.
With its ability to handle a variety of tariff structures, the STS prepayment solution can serve as
vehicle for increased energy awareness and energy savings and contribute to achieving a more
evenly distributed load.
Both single phase and three phase electricity meters are certified STS compliant.

Benefits of prepayment
Smart prepayment eliminates both monetary losses and the time spent handling late or missing
payments.
Combined with price incentives, smart prepayment can motivate consumers to reduce energy use
during peak hours.
Smart prepayment boosts energy awareness, eliminates inaccurate billing and lets consumers
keep track of consumption.
