What is ICD-10?
ICD-10 IS A SYSTEM FOR MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS AND PROCEDURE CODING FOR CARE MANAGEMENT
AND BILLING PURPOSES THAT WENT INTO EFFECT OCTOBER 1, 2015. IT IMPACTS EVERY SYSTEM,
PROCESS AND TRANSACTION THAT CONTAINS OR USES A DIAGNOSIS OR PROCEDURE CODE.

WHAT IS THE WHY DO I NEED ICD-10 CODING TRAINING?

PURPOSE OF ICD-10?
ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS
coding provides greater clinical
details and have the potential to
reveal more about the quality of
care, so that data can be used in
a more meaningful way to better
track the outcomes of care.
ICD-10 requires more rigorous reporting requirements, and our AHIMA-
Approved trainers can provide you with the curriculum and knowledge your
practice needs to be fully compliant. We offer in-depth training with hands-
on coding examples and analysis in our full day workshops to fully prepare
you for the new coding standards.
• LEARN THE NEW CODING REQUIREMENTS – ICD-10 procedure coding
is more comprehensive and detailed than ICD-9.
• NON-COMPLIANCE WILL AFFECT REVENUE – claims will be delayed or
denied and will not be processed.
• THERE ARE NO EXEMPTIONS – all HIPAA-covered entities including

online webinars. Our comprehensive sessions will address
everything you need to know about implementation critical
to billing guidelines, codes and structure for ICD-10-CM or
PCS. Designed for a more personalized learning experience,
these classes offer hands-on learning with opportunities to
practice coding scenarios.
WHICH WORKSHOP DO I NEED?
ICD-10-CM BASIC TRAINING
For entry-level coders and front desk personnel to
develop basic coding skills including understanding
the coding structure and key search terms.
ICD-10-CM COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING
For coding professionals who are active coders. It
covers changes in the structure of ICD-10-CM and
an in-depth approach to understanding the new
guidelines, conventions, diagnostic, and chapter-
specific body systems as well as practicing coding
scenarios.
ICD-10-CM FOR PHYSICIANS AND CLINICIANS
Encompasses guidelines, conventions, diagnostic, and
chapter-specific body system coding. It covers clinical
documentation and specificity required by physicians.
ICD-10-PCS TRAINING SESSION
For inpatient hospital coding and covers body system,
root operation, body part, approach, device and
qualifier sections.
ON DEMAND WEBINARS
A series of six different pre-recorded one hour webinars
and a separate three hour refresher webinar that allow
participants to view online at their convenience.
ATTENDEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR CEU CREDITS BASED ON
THE SELECTED WORKSHOP.
