Upon completion of this course, the student will be able, among others, to:
Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and application of the tools and analysis to
deal with financial decisions in business.
Provide general methods that is directly applicable to planning/budgeting,
preparation, control and appreciation of financial activities in both manufacturing
and service organization.
Commercially aware of the similarities and differences, roles of financial managers in
different types of business organization in a global business environment
Appreciate the benefits of effective and efficient financial management to all
stakeholders.
Recommend to management the impact of every decision to the financial goals of the
company.

Course Evaluation
1. Oral report. A periodic activity wherein students are expected to present and discuss their
individual assigned topics, act as resource person on the assigned topic and respond to queries
from the professor and their classmates on the topic assigned. (25%)
2. Attendance/Recitation/Participation. Students are required to act as critics to the students who
are reporting on the assigned topic. The critics are rated based on the relevance of their
comments, queries, or observations on the topic being discussed. (20%)
3. Research/Reaction/Reflection Papers. To be given from time to time to validate the students’
learning of topics discussed. (25%)
4. Final Evaluation (30%)
