Grace and the truth

Maybe you are asking yourself some questions, where is grace, and where is
truth? Grace and true it is something which you can’t separate. Where there
is grace there is truth, and where there is true there is grace. Let me show
you this, “The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came
through Jesus Christ.” And again “…... but grace and truth came through
Jesus Christ.” Wow! Have you seen that! Its sound so tremendously. We are
going to focus on the two words: grace and truth. Remember, the law was
given to Moses, and grace and the truth came through who? The Lord Jesus
Christ! And whenever you mention these two words, frankly, you must
whisper the name of Jesus.
To experience the grace of God first is to believe the truth. You cannot
experience the grace of God without believing the truth. In fact, when you
believe the truth the true unlock the grace of God which was bestowed on
the cross. The door to grace is the truth. I will say it again, the door to grace
is the true. What is the true? Remember, are you aware when Jesus said “I
am the way, the true, and the life?” I hope you aware of it. The answer is
“I am.” And who is “I am?” The Lord Jesus Christ. He is full of true, and
other hand full of grace. Jesus confronted the Jews and He tell them that they
must search the scriptures because the scriptures is a testimony of Him. And
again He said, when they continue studying the scriptures they shall know
the true and the true will make them free.
The true is not popular but it is available, and is the same with grace. The
grace of God is appear to all men…. But not everyone is experiencing it.
Those who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ are the ones who are enjoying
the grace of God. The most dangerous things is to reject the true, and when
you reject the true, guess what? You reject grace. Dear readers, if you meet
Jesus Christ you meet the true. The Holy Spirit who is the gift will teach you
all things. And that “all things” is the truth.
A lot of people want to hear the true but they are afraid of it. Though the true
can be revealed unto them but sometimes afraid to grasp it. It is like a bomb
that is ready to destroy them. Beloved, in Him (Jesus) you are complete.
And it means grace and true that you want is sufficient. Jesus will teach you
grace and true. The Jews wanted to hear the true, and, because of blindness,
they reject Him of whom supposed to give them the true. You need grace to
understand the true, and when you understand the true the true will give you
power to function in this World of sins. It is the will of God to give the true
to His children for them to function.
Grace is the concealment of the true
When you go to a book store or to any library, the first thing which shall attract
you is the cover of the book. When you want to send a gift to a friend or to
your beloved ones who is afar, what is the last thing to do? Of course, it is to
cover that gift. The gift can be either be covered with an envelope or a box for
prevention. Dear reader, are you getting what I am trying to figure out? Yes,
let’s assume that you believed in the Lord Jesus Christ you have grace. And
grace is what? Grace is the concealment of the true!
We cannot know the true if grace is not attracting us. Grace is the one pulling
us to the true, and we can’t pull ourselves to the true. First you need to find
grace before you find the true. And as we have been saying, grace is the door
to the true. Inside of grace it is where the true is hidden. You cannot find the
true, you cannot find the treasures of the true, unless you have to come to
grace. The Lord Jesus Christ made the statement very clearly, “You shall
know the true and the true shall make you free.” Jesus Christ was simply
saying, you have to believe in Him before you will know the true which shall
make you free.
The grace of God has appear to all men… Now a question, where did grace
appear? The answer is so simple, ON THE CROSS! You have to hear the
gospel of grace before you come to the true. Listen careful here, the true
cannot make you free but the knowledge of the true. What is the knowledge
of the true? Here we have some answer, it is that salvation is only by grace,
and you have nothing to do to enter heaven and it is by faith in Jesus only, you
have to understand that water baptism cannot save, your sins have paid in full,
and just few to mention. And if you know this true it make you free. You will
be free from bondage. When the gospel comes to you that is just a cover; you
have to believe the gospel and enjoy the true in it. You better through the veil
of legalistic and realize that there is grace. I didn’t become a Christian by my
own power. I am a Christian by grace. I am a Christian grace telling me so. I
love grace because my life is guided by grace. I am a stranger to this world
because grace is on my side. But I see Jesus!
The power of life is the grace of God. A Christian life is hidden and is a
mysterious. People who are not converted cannot understand a Christian,
because a Christian is covered by grace.
The hands of grace
One day I was sitting under the tree and was thinking the grace of God. Yes,
the grace of God! Nothing is too beautiful then the grace of God. The hands
of grace is able to touch where these rejection, suffering, despair, tears,
sickness, diseases, bullying, and just few to mention. Life is so hard. Every
individual in this planet need the grace of God. It is a mess unto those who
don’t need the grace of God. The grace of God is searching, searching and
searching of whom to help. The hands of grace has a high speed and none
can stop it. The hands of grace is able to reach where seems to be
impossible.
When I think grace it makes me to remember the day the Lord Jesus Christ
saved me. John Newton sang a wonderful song: Amazing Grace. I like a part
which he said, “I once was lost but now am found.” That is grace! I don’t
know how you look, what is your background, which family are you coming
from, rich or poor, and educated or uneducated. When the grace of God hits
you it changes everything. Yes, grace changes everything from worse to
good.
I want you to understand this, the world cannot explain grace, and grace
cannot be explain by any one, a philosopher or anyone. But grace can be
understood only by people who are saved (Christians). The operation of
grace is beyond human understanding.
Grace concentrates on something which has no value, which is an
abomination unto the eyes of men. Grace liked it because want to enjoy the
game. What grace does is to pick that thing which has no value before men.
And for what purpose? To polish it nice for better use. And when it’s in use
it attract the attention of the world. “But God has chosen the foolish things
of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak
things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.” Grace
is the source for God purpose to make things come to pass.
And the danger part is to negate grace and when you negate it, it means you
nullify it. How to negate grace? To negate grace is when you live by
yourself without the Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace makes the scriptures alive
For how long was the words of God written? How many generation has
passed? Thousands of thousands of grandfathers and grandmothers have
read the words of God, and today you are still reading God’s words. Why?
Because grace has made the words alive! Beloved, you are studying the
scriptures it is not that you want too, but because grace makes too.
God had written His inspired words on the papers for the reason of knowing
Him and to understand Him. The Holy Spirit is the One illuminates what
God has written.
The Lord Jesus Christ is alive and His words is alive too. The grace of God
is the helper which make us to understand who is Jesus Christ. Grace makes
the words to penetrate in the soul. Grace makes a Christian to understand the
words of truth. Grace makes a Christian to divide the words of true from
error. Grace makes the words to work in a Christian life. Grace is the
incredible before men.
When you open your Bible grace will give you the appetite to love the
words. Grace will give you the appetite to read the Bible, appetite to
memorize the words, appetite to apply the words, appetite to speak the
words, appetite to interpret the words, appetite to teach the words, and
appetite to preach the words.
Grace makes you to understand that the scriptures are sufficient. Grace
makes you to understand that the Bible is complete, and no need any
revelations, because the Bible is the revelations. Grace makes you to
understand that every answers in life are written in the Bible. And grace will
give you the answers when you read the Bible.
The grace of God is everything to you. Sometimes we don’t know what to
speak, but grace makes us to speak wonderful things of God. When we are
speechless, grace is there to help us in everything. The words of God is alive
because of grace made it alive. The grace of God is something we have to
understand and how it operates. God knows that a sinner need grace for
salvation. And for God to begin working in your life you have to stand on
the grace ground.
The reign of grace
Grace is irresistible. And nothing can stop grace and not even sin.
(Scripture). Everything is connected to the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone.
The death of the Lord Jesus Christ was not in vain, and one need to
understand that the Lord Christ Jesus is the key to the reign of grace.
Grace operates in everything, and in every side, in a believer’s life who
believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The life of a Christian is not difficult though some strange things may try to
happen to him, but grace is present to conquer those difficulties.
The grace of God reign in life, remember. Grace reign in sin, grace reign in
difficulties, grace reign in weakness, grace reign disappointment, grace reign
in rejection, grace reign failure, grace reign in persecution, and just few to
mention.
Ruth was a moabinites, and the moabinites were cursed by God. Later on
Ruth was considered to be in the generation of the Lord Jesus Christ. King
David was taking care of the sheep and became a king of Israel. Hannah was
barren couldn’t bear a child, and was the mother of Samuel. Joseph was
hated by His brothers, but later he became a prime minister. Do you
understand how grace reigned?
God uses things which the World are despising, things which are base,
things which are mocked, things which are rejected, and things which are no
value before men. You know why? So that His grace might reign in those
things, and with the purpose of His glory. God is looking for the things
which is empty and weak, because he want to fill it by His grace.
Beloved, have you surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ? I want to
remind you that there is a grace which can fill you and take you somewhere
where you didn’t expect to be. Do not concentrate on your past but focus on
the Lord Christ Jesus. Jesus paid the price in full and nothing you have to
fear about. Allow the grace of God to reign in everything in your life, and
your part it’s only to trust Christ Jesus the Lord.
The more the trouble, the higher the grace

This life is full of trouble sometimes. And it doesn’t matter whether you are
a Christian or not a Christian you can face trouble. But what is the good
things for the Christian? The more the trouble, the higher the grace! That is
the privilege a Christian has. “And with great power the apostles gave
witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And I want you to notice the
following parts “And great grace was upon them all.” What? “Great
power and great grace.” what is the opposite of the word “great?”
(answer). You know this was the time when the apostle were preaching and
healing people. And at this particular time they did marvelous things, and
the priest were questioning them about their doing. The priest were having a
problem with the apostle’s ministry. They even stopped them not to preach
the Lord Christ Jesus. God is sovereignty and omnipotent. So, nothing can
stop Him on earth or under the earth.
Great power and great grace were added to the apostles. And it means there
is higher power and grace.
The grace of God can only be revealed in trouble. And God allows a
Christian to go through troubles, because that is the time God can add great
power and grace in the life of a Christian.
When we are going through troubles we need to look on to privileges
coming on our way: power and grace.
A Christian life it is not a playing ground but a battle ground. John
Macarthur clearly states and I quote, “A Christian life is summarized as a
call to victory and glory through suffering.” It is very true! We are from
victory and not for victory. The Lord Jesus Christ won the battle and we are
just enjoying that victory in our lives. Troubles helps us to come closer to
the Lord and teach us His ways and truth.
Let us not be surprised to face troubles in our lives, because great power and
great grace is present in our ways. Look at the life of Apostle Paul and how
God manifested great power and grace through trouble. Paul suffered but
was not crushed because power and grace were higher. So, the higher the
trouble, the higher the grace.
